20 years ago, Kyoko, Tomohiko and Miwa lived and studied at the Yoko Institute. The school is isolated from the world and located on the mountain. Their principle, Ebisu Kamikawa (Yumi Asou), tells the kids “since you were born, you have a mission."

Jay Quintana Jul 19 2020 3:44 am I watched this when it first came out. Enjoyed it. In light of the tragedy that befell Haruma Miura, I'm wrestling with myself on whether to watch this again. On the one hand, it might be therapeutic. On the other hand, it might just be too devastating.

kelly-k Aug 02 2017 8:51 am I just watch this after watching the Korean serial deul ... trust me I was having philosophical questions for a while ... it makes you ask yourself questions as a human being , you don't want to die but are taking away the lives of others just because you created them .... the way people don't even consider them as people broke my heart ... and I loved the speech Minami gave " all I ask is that when you create us, so so without giving us a brain so we don't think for ourselves .... that broke my heart very much ....

handago Mar 02 2016 8:36 pm i love asami mizukawa and i feel bad about how she always be the third party. i think she deserve to be the lead actress already.. and i haven't watch single episode of this drama even though i'm really curious, because i always watching drama all episode in marathon so i don't feel depressed waiting every episode for a week haha oh and i love haruka ayase and haruma miura and how they are paired

I've seen the movie. I bought the book last week and I'm gonna read it after this drama ends.

Haruma, next drama please less depressing and make sure you're not going to die, please. I'm begging you.

The movie just made me sad but this drama, since it's 10 episodes, I'm going to be a mess.

FII Feb 19 2016 7:47 pm Actually this is a novel written by a Japanese born (british citizen) novelist Kazuo Ishiguro called 'Never let me go'. I'm actually reading it now and it's a beautiful start. I am too dead curious to know the ending. This book was already in english

chiara Feb 06 2016 6:40 pm So this is a Japanese novel made into a Hollywod movie in 2010 and now adapted into a Japanese drama. Having not watched the movie nor read he book, I have no preconceived idea how this drama will turn out in comparison to the former. Just happy that Miura and Ayase have a new drama I can watch.
