Frst grade elementary school student Tonbo (Yuma Kimino) is the type that's easily scared. One day, when he wears his dead mother's glasses, the ghost of his deceased mother Choko Uehara (Yukie Nakama) appears in front of him. His mother died three months ago. Choko Uehara worked as a police officer. Now, other ghosts come to Choko Uehara. Even after her death she likes to meddle in other people's affairs. Choko Uehara now solves cases with her son Tonba as her partner. Choko also watches her son grow up until the real farewell day comes ...

Jurek May 06 2020 10:47 pm Yankumi, knowing her fighting abilities, decided to change career, from teacher to a policewoman. She met Shinohara, got married, and have a family of four.

Headteacher Sawatori, also made a career change, now a supervisor of Yankumi.

L818 Jan 24 2017 6:47 am Finally, Yankumi and Shinohara ended up together...although not in gokusen. Vice principal is also here which is funny. Overall, heartwarming.

Clarkdale44 Jan 15 2014 6:13 pm OHH MY GOD!!! I am still shaking after finishing this drama. Probably the most touching drama about mother-son relationship i have ever seen. Yukie Nakama was perfect in her role as mom. While what do i say about our little actor Yuma Kimino, he stole the hearts of millions of viewers including mine.The feeling i got after seeing such deep bond between mother and son, i am totally fell for this drama since first episode. I couldn't sleep at night due to this. I like stories with uniqueness and that's how i found this masterpiece after watching Yukie Nakama's "Ordinary Miracles". WARNING:- Don't read any further if you have yet to watch the drama. Well although this drama deserves my full points no doubt, but there are some flaws noticeable like Choko cannot touch any object, but i saw her sitting in the car and bus, i am not sure whether they can do this or not? it was weird for me. Also she was able to take Tonbo too far from home, he is first grader, i know he is with her mom but still from people's view, he is out there alone. If we ignore such errors then there is nothing else to say now.

I will give this 10/10 no doubt(Masterpiece storyline, great casting by Yukie Nakama and Yuma Kimino both, great cinematography, great direction, great OST and many more.) This drama was far beyond my imaginations and expectations.

eahchan Sep 15 2012 8:22 am this is a great story... I can't help crying while watching the last episode...:) The story was so heart warming and touching.. great cast too. A great combination of humor, love and the value to be strong when you have to let go and move on. The importance of family and solving individual differences. I.... so...... Luv......it................!!!!
