"My Healing Love" follows Im Chi-Woo (So Yu-Jin) and Choi Jin-Yoo (Yeon Jeong-Hun) as they pursue their own happiness.

Im Chi-Woo never wanted to become a good daughter, a good daughter-in-law or a good wife, but she sacrifices herself to take care of her family. She is married to immature Park Wan-Seung (Yoon Jong-Hoon) and she works several part-time jobs to support her family. Under her difficult situation, she keeps smiling and maintaining her positive attitude.

Choi Jin-Yoo is a divorcee and he has a daughter. He works hard and tries live positively for his daughter. He encounters a nightmare like scenario.

Park Min Feb 03 2023 3:50 pm It's unbelievable how boring this drama was. Most of its run was wasted on a single plot that is the lost daughter. Other than the main characters, everyone else felt expendable and useless. The writer didn't put much effort in the side stories either. All of them were short and lacked development despite having 80 episodes. The romance was straight up forced and it only started to happen in the last 8 episodes. The drama clearly ran out of time or was cut short just by looking how they made the last 2 episodes. A quick abrupt time skip and a generic update of the character.

Cheorin May 18 2021 4:41 am I loved this drama. The ending was clear; the love between them was too great to keep them apart. And it was there when they were children maturing in adulthood. The drama was beautifully conceived and produced. Kudos to all.

Jojoanna Feb 17 2021 7:54 am Daebak series to watch and rewatch. Really enjoy the story line. Youn Jung-hoon is his role as Choi Jin-yoo and So Yu-jin in her role as Im Chi-woo / Choi Chi-yoo are amazing. How Jin-yoo and Chi-woo can relate to each other and being a solace for each other really "wow' the storyline. CJY is like an angel that appears when CY is having a difficult time. And strangely CY appears when CJY is having a tough time. It is like they are soulmate to be that just did not happen. Both JY and CY scene bring lots of tears...

However JY sister Yi-yoo is a redundancy as in she only thinks of herself from beginning to ending. How can she beg her father to forgive and bail the mother out from the crimes the mother has done...If Yi-yoo has any consideration for the father and grandma who loves her so much...she should be more understanding instead of being a "cry-baby". Does she not see the pain the father is in? Does she only see the pain she herself and the mother is in? Selfish thru and thru. Sad indeed. Somehow I tie Yi-yoo with Im Joo-A...another redundancy that thinks of herself and selfish thru and thru. She is very lucky to have such a understanding loving mother Lee Sam-sook. Am glad the series ends at the Roof-Top and glad both father and grandma gave in at last. Grandma heart aches when she sees CY tears in silent and when CY cries in her room yet appears ok in front of Grandma. Am glad Grandma knows when to let go and CY go find JY. They are not blood-related in any way and also they did not force their love upon each other. It is like naturally flows.

Peter Feb 11 2021 3:58 am Not happy with the ending. Jin Yoo overstep it’s boundaries with Chi Yoo. Makes it look like he’s a creep or predator. Not a good feeling in my perspective. IMO.

BokJoo Sep 20 2019 1:12 am This drama actually grows on you. I initially did not fancy it much but the leading couple did really well. Kudos to Yeong Ji Hoon who took this drama to a higher level. I am glad that there was no draggy episode although I wished they had given the leading couple a longer happy ending scene.

saranghae Mar 13 2019 1:00 pm i liked this drama 7.5 out of 10 with good recommendations the drama effectively ended when the wicked mom was caught after so many close calls tried and put in prison but i think this drama was wrote for more epi but due to the low ratings they kill it by epi 80 common maneuver when the ads revenue can not cover the huge production costs so instead of losing more money they just stop the bleading by killing it

Loved all characters, all couples, all storylines and all actors. Simply amazing! I only hope this would have had more episode. Great great drama!

saranghae Feb 27 2019 9:22 am finished epi 76 once again chiyuya the long lost daughter was stunningly majestic beautiful in that black gown i think ill faint if i see her in person dressd like that one more weekend to go and this will be it the ratings were kind of low to me tho the time slot was prime time hope to see more of so yujina in another drama

paget Feb 26 2019 5:45 pm I think this drama is good. I really love the chemistry between so yu-jin & yeon jeong-hun in this drama, they play it well (i wish so yu-jin's character become a little bit cheerful and confident in the end). I hope they have a good ending..

For the support character like park jeun-seung & yang eun-joo, both actor & actress are really good to play their character. They have chemistry (unlike Im chi-woo & Park wan-seung who had been married for 8 years but there was no spark between them). And if you follow the story from the beginning, i think because of their story this drama play through until the end. Even the start story for them was not good, i hope they give them a good ending story for their relationship.

She got pregnant to have a roof over her head, to be fed and to force herself into the guy's life. Knowing perfectly well that he wants nothing to do with her. I can't stand her pathetic and intrusive character either. She wanted a child? Fine. Then she should deal with it on her own. That's her responsibility not his. Law is wrong to oblige guys to take responsibility for women who do that.

He's a lawyer. She would have probably not made herself pregnant if he was selling burgers on the sidewalk.

sf Nov 18 2018 5:11 am A woman should be twice more careful because she is the one who gets pregnant, not the man. In the end, she will be the one who will bear the consequences in a way or in other. When this annoying character was hospitalised, she told to ICW that she loves JS. That's why I think her pregnancy could be premeditated. Maybe not, but her subsequent behaviour demonstrates this. The guy left home because he did not wish to see her at all. And what is she doing? She goes to his office and presents herself as a member of his family. Then she goes to his apartment and gets inside without his permission. She is an annoying leech. When he tells her to disappear and to leave him alone she approaches to him more and more. He categorically is a bad guy but, her behaviour makes me be on his side. And please don't try to blame him more than is worth, because some of his actions are a countermeasure to his family actions or have nothing to do with the relations between him and that leech.

He treated her nicely when they were together and then after she got pregnant he threw her away and tried to make her get an abortion. Then after that, he tried to make her leave the country. Men who are getting used for child support should also be careful in this day and age because it is horrible what SOME women are doing ... using their children as paychecks but this girl didn't get pregnant to get money out of him. His responsibility is to the child but why does he have the right to discard her like she was nothing. He was present when this child was made. He needs to step up. Please explain to me which part of his actions was right? Getting her pregnant? Trying to force her into having an abortion? Trying to defraud another family into marriage using lies? Trying to force his sister in law to take her to the Philippines where she won't see her family? Which part of these things was correct? She shouldn't force herself on him yes that part I hate and I find her delusional for thinking he should marry her so she can show off their marriage and baby to her family but please do tell. What has he done that is so right? Plus why should a woman be twice more careful in a relationship?

zombie Nov 15 2018 7:45 am i only watched so yujin in 2 other dramas seoul 1945 and five enough she was superb in both so i became a big fan from time to time i was looking for her other dramas but couldnt find any until this one which was a very pleasant surprise for me just finished epi 6 and the story line looks interesting a bit confusing cuz it just started and there are lots of incognitas that will be solved as we go along she is not really pretty or very sexy like all other lead females which i think its becoming a standard in kdramas she is there cuz her superb acting skills are second to none fightiiiiiiiii so yujina

Being a woman you should be twice more careful in a relationship with a man. Why blame him because she has nowhere to go or to live? He has no obligation to her, only for the child. He can help her because of his child but, from a distance. I hate the women who are using their child as a weapon against the man, to marry them against the man's will. Any criminal is condemned for a period of time, after that he is free. To marry someone whom you do not want is a punishment for life and this is not fair.

When it comes to women having your pregnancy terminated against your will is something you can never get over and that is abuse. If he didn't want a child with her they BOTH should have taken the necessary measures not to get pregnant. It is his child so he should accept it and look after the child... she has nowhere to go and he is busy denying her and making plans to marry another woman. Come on.

She is a nobody, who got pregnant and after nine months appears in front of her child's father to tell him that he will be a father and he must accept her and their child. Is this woman sane? I hope this character will quickly disappear from the picture.

It's off to a slow start, but I'm hanging in there for the leads and hopefully a romance beween Yi Yoo and I Joo Cheol.

Blunt Oct 28 2018 1:08 pm Only 2 characters stand out in this family drama: Im Chi-Woo and Choi Jin-Yoo. I love the actors playing them. But we saw them almost non-stop in the first episodes. We already got to see how they first met, and one of them is already deeply in love with the other. I'm not sure if there is anything else left to see. Are the creators really thinking of filling 80 episodes with a love story?
