Bronny Jan 10 2021 12:32 am it’s obviously not a story about opposite sex can be friend, Tae O obviously likes Song Yi in the the 2015 drama and in this drama so there’s no wrong about the story in this season 2 drama, and I think this story is ended in the right way because Song Yi should be with the man that always there for her and always care about her, which is Tae O. And also Tae O is always in Song Yi life like since day 1 in good and bad situations so I think they should be together till the end too.

This drama is very good and I like it so much.

Louie Jan 06 2021 10:23 am I underestimated this kdrama several months ago when it appeared as recommendation, then i give it a try to watch.

In the beginning, i thought this kdrama had a similar base storyline with 'welcome to waikiki' where a bunch of people spending their time in the same place together. But, it's getting more complicated the more i watch. The 1st season is like an introduction, the characters and their problems. And the 2nd season is their completion, how they face their own problems.

I'm on s2 ep 4 now and curious how it will end. I think i have mixed feelings while watching it, because it's funny, romantic, and also sad.

Dalagang_Pinipilahan Jan 03 2020 10:11 am I loved how the characters become deeper here than in the first season. I also loved the script. The whole cast did it so well. It ended happily. I just wished they did a different hairstyle for Tae-O, though.

Positive kid Dec 21 2019 5:42 pm Thank god I didn't watch the 1st season, i kinda like how the season 2 goes. Let's just say season 1 is the trial and error stage while season to is acceptance stage. Some might call it cliche but its worth watching. In the end everyone is happy and having a good life.

The drama was funny, plenty of romantic moments and lots of teary moments.

Really good drama if you are after some good feel drama.

Tata Sep 27 2019 6:33 am 2015 version that i love a lot has open ending.then,when i saw the first version of this drama, i feel aaawwwwww, i can't describe, i just feel so bad that the ending was quit similar with the 2015 version. I have high expectations that the writer made different ending. After i heard that there is second season of this drama, i found i downloaded. I watched and finally i can sleep in peace since this second season have solved all the problems nicely. But sometime, i still imagine how if the carachter of the drama are minho, park so dam and kim min jae. I think i still can't move on from 2015 casts. But, based on the story line, i love this new version alot. In this second season all the questions in my mind are well executed. The ending is really nice and happy ending. My most favorite point is the frienship goal of this second version strongly shown. Love do hyun and tae oh who fix their problems and still be a friend without any unnecessary fight, love love love it so much. Ji soo, finally you become main lead and find your love, since you are so much hurt to be second lead many times and lost your love again n again, this time for you to be happy, lol...

Li.k Aug 05 2019 2:03 am I knew that from the moment they chose to do season two and write beyond what the original drama told, it would all be unpredictable and likely to go wrong. And it went wrong! For those who don't know the series is a remake of My First Time / Because It's The First Time that only has one season. This whole second season has fled the direction of the original script. So without spoiler, they ruined the first season idea, the whole issue that persons of different sex can be friends was deleted from the story in a ridiculous way. They changed DoHyun personality, has various strange twists, things that make no sense. In the end you'll be waiting for the things went in a better way, but no. Except the story of Garin and Hoon, the only thing well written, the rest can be thrown away.

There's more ways of developing stories than using the same go to clichés. First of all, who forgives a mother that abandoned you and let you be homeless? Also, that motive was pretty stupid. Stupid. The mother that leaves a son behind because her family asks for money? OMG people, literally? For real? I would feel better about it if she choked from eating bread in the morning. It's depressing to see where this went, cause first season was good. I wish I could reset my mind so I could forget such new level of bad writting.

Hope Aug 04 2019 8:48 am I like all the cast here, they did a really good job on their role. Everything's is fair. I am expecting more of Ji soo's leadig role. He can be funny, strong guy or be romantic. I hope he could get a comedy romance more in the future

MasterBaiting Jul 30 2019 2:20 pm Very good drama. First season was really the way i liked my drama. Bittersweet yet goofy. I liked how both character has feeling for each other yet they didn't realise it until they had their own boyfriend and girlfriend. How much they actually need each other and deeply care for each other. It was a good story.

And then come the season second season. The season of heartbreak and disappointment. i mean come one, how can his parents make decision like that? a divorce just because the mother family always bother them to *lend* them some money? that's just absurd. you could just report them or something. And then what happen with her after the divorce? wheres her brother? or family? did she run the restaurant alone? i need to know what happen to her more so i could sympathize her. And they made my boy dohyeon a little bit out of his character. i thought he was the supposed chill, well mannered, smart, cool looking guy. but why does his emotion get out of control so often? couldnt you just make him like "aah, i see. she loves him more than me. guess i have to let her go" from like the second he knew that she always thinks of tae-o? i guess thats what happen when you love someone too much? but if he gonna let her go in the end why not just do it when he knew that she loves him? and not made him into an emotionally unstable pubescent boy?

Well anyway it was a good show. every character background were made for their development. Like tae-o's mother, and hoon father's thirst for fame and glory. Thank you producer, writer, staff's and all the actor for all you guys hardwork to deliver this great K-drama.

Banana Jul 28 2019 3:07 am I just finished watching all episodes. Although, im a dohyeon x songyi shipper. The writers did well for the ending. And i think this was fair for both actors who had always been getting second leads (jinyoung and jisoo). Jinyoung got the girl for season 1 and jisoo got the girl in season 2. I guess thats fair.

This drama was such a rollercoaster. There were happy moments and there were heartbreaking moments. I have to admit that i was so brokenhearted and i teared up when i knew songyi and dohyeon was falling apart. But when they broke up, it didnt really hurt much. Maybe because i knew it would happen? Or because dohyeon was the one who dumped her? Or because dohyeon realized they werent for each other. Songyi still have feelings for taeho and so i guess its best for them to just break up instead.

Anyways, this drama was great. Its not a cliché drama. It will have you a rollercoater of emotions. Right now, i dont even know if im happy or sad lmao.

Banana Jul 28 2019 12:35 am EPISODE 5: This is getting even more depressing. I feel like crying. Dohyeon and Taeho's friendship is ruined. I feel like dohyeon and songyi will breakup too which i actually assumed that would happen (well ofc, since jisoo's the main lead in the first place). I watched this drama because of jinyoung and it hurts seeing him hurt :((( i think this is what jisoo's fans felt (i know hes being called a curse with getting second lead roles). But jinyoung has been getting second lead roles too :(( i hope next time when jinyoung comes back from the military, he will get a lead role :(

I dont feel like i can keep going T____T but i have to finish this drama. 3 more episodes to go.

This episode is just depressing. All my hopes are wrecked. Dohyeon seemed like a bad guy (which i dont want to happen) but i understand bc how can you not feel jealous when your gf is with someone else, right? Plus, he had a hard time because of financial problems with his father.

J Jul 27 2019 11:33 am Finally Ji Soo got the girllllllll (ofc). Eventhough I think it is kind of unfair for Do Hyeon to have such a situation. But I am glad how the writers finalized the ending.

This is a simple but sweet drama to watch when you just feelin want to watch slice of life genre. It has value about friendship and things related to family. Recommended. It is not boring too. It pleases the first lead shipper by giving the epilogue episode (final episode).

Banana Jul 27 2019 10:50 am EPISODE 2: I Love How Do-Hyun Has Become So Sly. OMFGJSKS. Hes So Boyfriend Material T___T Episodes are getting better and better too. I love the romance and also, the funny scenes got me cracked up lmao.

And about taeho, all i could say is that hes too late to realize his feelings for songyi was strong. At this state, i dont feel like songyi and dohyeon are going to break up (like some fans have assumed). Theyre relationship is healthy and they like each other alot. I kinda just wish that sehyeon would just change and take her relationship with taeho seriously :/

And also, i wish there could be a behind the scenes video of jinyoung (dohyeon) cooking too haha. From what ive known as a fan, hes a great cook

Banana Jul 27 2019 9:25 am EPISODE 1: First of all, i love the beginning of the episode. Im loving the chemistry between songyi and dohyeon. I couldnt stop myself from smiling u///u

Second, songyi's sunbae got me so pissed like i just want to kick his balls. So glad taeho kicked his balls tho.

Third, i feel so sad for taeho!! When dohyeon and taeho was talking about songyi, i can see in his eyes that hes jealous/hurting :( altho, i love songyi and dohyeon but im wishing taeho gets the happiness he deserves too :(

Nyx Jul 27 2019 1:04 am I am so glad it didn't take that long to air season 2. I just finished watching it now and it was excellent. I loved how it was all wrapped up neatly. Definitely worth waiting for. Not sure why the rating bar isn't on here or I would vote 100%. The cast done a great job of relaying the pains and pleasures of growing up. I also really liked how it was always bright and cheery even during the hardships. Thank you.
