Plot

Risa (Ema Fujisawa), a tall Japanese girl, gets rejected by a boy because she is taller than him. Otani (Teppei Koike), a short Japanese guy, gets rejected by a girl because he is shorter than her. Obviously these two would make the oddest of couples and would never be a good match for each other right? Well love doesn’t always follow such logic as Love Complex shows.

Nara Nov 16 2014 11:38 pm I absolutely love LoveCom because it reminds of the love story between two friends, where she was actually taller than him. Things didn't worked out and they didn't end up together like Risa and Otani, but I will always ship them!

Sway Oct 21 2013 9:35 pm I agree with Aiko and the actress for Risa should be taller or the opposite the actor for Atoshi should be shorter. I just didn't see the distinct height difference in the movie. Also it's impossible to to put a 21 series Anime into a sing movie. Plus for some reason that reason that Risa's hair was normal brown. LOL I don't know it's a weird vanity complex. So used to seeing her with a light auburn. But it's manga and anime methods for blah blah differentiate.

Katie Aug 14 2013 11:44 pm It was good for a movie. I wish it could've been a show. But they can't have ANYTHING in a movie. I saw that they left a lot out, but not a lot changed, besides the fact they seemed a little nicer to each other. Either than that LOVED IT the characters were the cutest!

Aiko Jul 25 2012 5:52 am I want a remake for this film and hopefully this time, they'll make it a series. it's hard to summarize a 20 plus anime episodes into 1 movie. Some of the important parts and scenes were not included. :/ I know they can do better than this even but even though i can say that the movie is good too. My suggestion for Otani Atsushi is still Teppei Koike cause i believe he is the only one who could portray Otani's characters well, plus they really are look a like. For Koizumi Risa I want Nana Eikura for the reason that she is 170 cm too like Koizumi and she's really taller than Teppei, no need to wear high heels like Ema did.

Crazy-Love-life Dec 29 2011 1:21 pm This is a GREAT movie trust me, I've read the manga, watched the anime and when I was thinking about coming back to Love complex I was thinking if I should read the manga or watch the anime then I found this movie and thought Ill go with this.(So happy that I did) Believe me this movie will make you laugh and cry over and over again. Plus I like the topic about the girl being taller than the boy, since that's the case with me mainly :L If you want to watch something that relates to funny, teenage, school, life, sad moments then watch this. 100% AWESOME
