Un modeste admirateur Aug 21 2024 5:16 am What to say about «Love Andante», other than that you should watch it right now! Sure, it doesn’t have a big budget or special effects, but it’s acted and filmed with talent, it puts a big smile on your face, and despite its light clichés, it makes you actually think about the unique situation of Korea, one of the world’s only divided countries. Watch it in the morning along with a cup of tea, and you feel uplifted. Guaranteed! Frankly I’m just thankful that romantic comedies like «Love Andante» still exist. I don’t see a synopsis above, so let me try to write one quickly: An experimental peace village is built in the DMZ between North and South Korea. Those who agree to live there for 1 year are given housing. And due to an error in the computer system, a Pyongyang girl, Na-Kyung, and a Seoul boy, Joo-Hyeong, unexpectedly move in together.

Jjoo Aug 19 2024 11:40 am I had to drop it in the middle of episode 2. I couldn't stand the low quality anymore. The initial idea of the drama was promising, I mean the idea of North and South Koreans living together in a village, but the idea was pursued poorly. First, the main leads cliche arrogant characters. Plus the cliche plot of somehow they ended living in the same house. And ngl, the low budget does show and it's obvious. Also, acting-wise, it felt lacking. Overall, the drama felt like a super ambitious knock off of Crash Landing on You. The story is obviously different, but they tried to take the North and South idea of it and create something as cool with it, but I would say they failed miserably.
