Haruka Nozaki (Anna Yamada) transfers to a new school, but she is bullied there. The only person on her side is her classmate Mitsuru Aiba. Haruka Nozaki endures the bullying because of Mitsuru Aiba. One day, a fire breaks out at her home. Her parents die and her younger sister is severely injured. Haruka Nozaki has an emotional breakdown and she begins to take revenge on those who are responsible.

Jade Jul 27 2023 11:42 am I saw some short video of this movie on tiktok, it caught my attention so I already search this movie and watch it twice, yesterday and now. I really love this movie but I don't really like the ending tho, I expect that Nozaki is alive but sadly it's not, also Nozaki reminds me of Nanno from "girl from nowhere". This is my favorite movie even though I don't like the ending. Overall rating 100000/10.

hcha Jun 11 2019 9:58 pm this is probably one of my favorite movies to come out of Japan, it's really amazing. While some of the gore and kills can feel a little campy particularly the first kill scene, some of the later ones are quite good and it doesn't detract from the film. It's a film full of messed up people, nobody in this films good and I could really get behind the characters motivations and struggles. A great adaptation which I've already spoiled too much of. If you can handle gore and morally ambiguous characters, this is a great revenge flick!!!!

Beastquith Jun 10 2019 12:23 pm 8/10 for me lol all those weak hearted heart below me just can't take the Violence and Cruelty of this movie, they expect a slice of life drama, but they got Super Dark Gore movie LMAO and I love it! ahh what would you call it Grotesque is the right word for this movie. If you like Dark and Battle Royale kind of movie you'll like this. But the plot is so fvcked up HAHA

Jan Feb 13 2019 6:04 am So.... what to say, I watched this a few days ago, after reading the manga I had NO idea what I was in for. I didn't know if they changed anything or left out several details (by that I mean too-gruesome-to-show-deaths) HOWEVER they did, and i'd say most of it was right on the money, ah I really felt like I was watching the manga play out. Despite them changing small details, I was overall entranced by this film and I have no idea why because apart from staying true to the manga, the acting! the acting was below average. there were a couple honorable mentions, I think out of all the characters, Nozaki, Mamiya, Kuga, Aiba and Oguro ( the grandfather as well) the actors portraying these characters made this movie worth watching. Once the credits started rolling I thought to myself "Hm not exactly the tea I wanted to be served". What's strange is here I am still thiNking about this movie. It has a weird charm to it despite all my ranting.

TL;DR this movie has alot of flaws and you'll find yourself making fun of it alot while watching it, but there's no denying that there is something about it that keeps your eyes glued to the screen, unable to look away nor stop midway, after it ends, if you're anything like me, this movie will stay with you, and keep you thinking. thats what a good film is supposed to do, stay with you.

Binger Feb 11 2019 7:47 am Wow. I can't believe i watched it till the end. I regret it tho. I hope i can forget ever watching this movie. The commenter below me was right, it was a waste of time. If you have a light heart like me, skip this movie, i'm doing you a favor here by reminding you. Everyone in this movie is psycho that they should name the town as Psycho Town. I had faith in Aiba but mehhh. The death scenes are all gruesome, i almost vomit. The author of this story must be crazy to come up with this. The storyline is nice for thriller movie, but if they tone down the death scenes then the movie would be better. Overall, my rating for this is minus 10 out of 10.

ending was really - really bad, i still can't believe that i watch it till the end. at the mid scene where nozaki started to kill one by one, i still can't feel the hatred toward them, why they're chose to kill them instantly ? why not let them suffer first and kill slowly? there's still many route for this. i will not recommend it for those who seek a good ending, this movie actually pretty dark, but for those who have so many time that don't know how to waste it i recommend this movie!

well actually i'm pretty bored at that time that i see the movie poster that's looks interesting and give it a shoot.

K Nov 13 2018 11:16 pm (Almost) every character in this movie suffers from psychological disorders lol. I know it's wrong to say this but it made me feel good seeing the main girl kills those bullies one by one. Not instantly but slowly and painfully. Their parents and teachers are basically useless and even with laws, they probably would just do their time in juvie for few years. It's an unfair world. So yeah those kids deserve it. It sure made me feel good seeing them wither slowly in agony till their last breath.

And as the result I couldn't close my eyes because every time I close my eyes I kept thingking about it. I can't wait to see how they will portray it in live action movie.
