Fubuki Koshiji (Miori Takimoto/Mao Daichi), real name Mihoko Kono, loved to sing as a child. She took advice from her father and entered the highly prestigious Takarazuka Music School. After graduation, she joined the all-female musical theater troupe Takarazuka Revue. Although she couldn't dance very well, she was able to endure because of her singing ability and bright personality. She left the Takarazuka Revue in her mid-20's and began work as a singer and actress. She teamed up with songwriter Tokiko Iwatani (Haruka Kinami/Yoshie Ichige) and often performed chanson, influenced by Edith Piaf. She was eventually called “Queen of Japanese chanson”.
