Eun So-Yoo (Shin Go-Eun) works as a stylist. She struggles to make enough money to pay for her mother's operation fee. Due to a case, Eun So-Yoo gets involved with Choi Seo-Joon (Im Yoon-Ho). He is rich and from a chaebol family. Eun So-Yoo pretends to love him for his money, but she falls truly in love with him. Choi Seo-Joon has an in incurable disease. He is more interested in playing around than working and he doesn't believe in true love.

Park Min Mar 08 2023 11:24 pm The first problem became apparent very quickly. Both male leads can't act to save their lives. Seo Do Young was stiff as a brick, the dude barely react or be able to open his mouth more than 0.5 cm. In contrast, Im Yoon Ho was overacting as much as he could while putting silly expressions. I don't want to see him in any other project in the future, the dude is really off putting. The silliness will lure you in but soon enough it will turn into another bloated melodrama minus the silliness. The "illness" plot was too dump, is that the best they could come up with? This made the whole last 30 episodes unbearable.

terri bull Jul 28 2020 7:26 pm Currently up to episode 74 on MBC channel. Thanks MBC for subtitles, but I quit watching. That Eun So Yoo character is abnormally stupid and weaker than a punching bag. Kang Hanna's (she was that new hire drooling over Hong Se Hyun) character is so cringe too. I can't believe that Ms. Kang's coworkers didn't sarcastically said something like, "Are you seriously taking our job as a joke? Focus, Ms. Kang! Flirting over instant coffee in front of us while we are working?? Wow, no shame. You didn't even stir the mix." I really wish someone said something like that to Ms. Kang. I think that would make the drama feel more realistic or improve Eun So Yoo's character if she was the one who spoke up. Does Eun So Yoo even have anything to lose that she can't speak up for herself? Hong Se Hyun's mom would be so happy and underestimate if Eun So Yoo is "gone" from the company. So what if she lost her job either way when she could try enter the design competition either way right? The way she tries to build her reputation is so awful. Where is her spine lol ugh dumb and horrible drama lmao I swear I could write this drama better instead

Though, the plot gets infuriating and has too much screeching.

Also, the acting for Choi Seo-Joon is somewhat terrible because he wears that same frowning puppy-face expression most of the time. At least he does not sound indifferent (meanwhile Hong Se-Hyun sounds a little dull in a lot of scenes except to his mom but that could just be because of his character), looks cute, and matches well with Shin-Go Eun.

Everyone betrays everyone and no one does much about it...like why would you let your demeaning step mother who constantly tries to make money off you barge in to live at your house? Dumb!! Loved the leads and stayed for Seo Do-Young. Just crazy about him!!

And Im Yoon Ho is not familiar to me either. Looks like he's been gone from the drama world for awhile but comes back as a male lead and his first. That's awesome to see.

But it looks like this may be an 100+ episode drama which I may not watch just because that's too many episodes for me.
