Plot

Khanh (Huy Khanh) and Nhung (Dinh Y. Nhung) live in a small fishing village. They live happily together, except they have yet to conceive a child. Finally, the wife Nhung turns to a former friend of her husband's to become the surrogate father. The man is an alcoholic and makes a living selling lottery tickets on the streets. Nhunh successfully becomes pregnant, but the father becomes jealous over the happiness between Khanh and Nhung.
