While boar hunting goes on in an ordinary country village, a missing person case takes place. Surrounding the missing person case, the villager's secrets are revealed one by one.

Young-Soo (Park Ho-San) is a middle-aged man in the country village. He is married to Chae-Jung (Kim Soo-Jin). One day, Young-Soo goes into the mountain to hunt boars with his friends. The boars damage crops in the village. While in the mountain, Young-Soo faces an unexpected situation.

Ok-Soon (Ye Soo-Jung) has lived with her grandson since her son and daughter-in-law died in a fire. Ok-Soon believes the fire was set by some people in the village. She doesn't trust the villagers and, after being diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, she is even more wary of them.

Chae-Jung is Young-Soo’s wife. She often bursts out with anger at Young-Soo, but she is otherwise a warm-hearted person. Due to her personality, she is popular among the villagers. After her son goes missing on the day Young-Soo is boar hunting, she becomes mentally destroyed.

Kristine Feb 05 2023 9:48 pm I really liked this drama. As sure as I thought I figured it out a twist.

Who really caused the fire that killed the parents? Son or grandma or accident?

Why did no one really look for the friend innocently stabbed? They didn’t even talk about him for eons.

I liked it was only 4 episodes but wouldn’t cut anything to make it movie length.

I know these don’t have a Hollywood ending but… Did she only set fire to that house or several? It seemed a structure across the way also burned down. Glad his wife already went ahead of him.

I was glad he got shot. Relieved for his victim. But at the same time wanted people held accountable but glad some got away. I was glad the blackmailer got shot as well. When he realized he murdered his friend who was innocent of the blackmail and had nothing to do with his son being missing oh my goodness. When the elder found the two men in the woods digging the hole, oh my goodness. What greed amongst the town. He gave them overpriced meat and air conditioners. Are relationships what you can get out of others materially? If only they moved. I am surprised he picked up a gun again. Was the boar symbolic of something more. Like the boar was just there and they let it be. Bigger problems than the boar digging up crops. They are supposed to be dangerous. I noticed that the man with the missing son was basically the gram considering anyone and everyone the culprit. Just like her only it wasn’t resolved a week or so later. Imagine that eating away at her for years. Fantasy becoming fact. Reminded me of the US series The Killing where one death just compounds misery to people some related to the event and some innocents swept up in it all.

noyau ert Jan 25 2023 11:25 pm Fast-paced, dark, thrilling.. You will feel on edge on every episode.. Trust me, a lot of thriller series kinda wasted because of its slow pacing, but the fact that this is only 4 episodes is a masterpiece..
