Plot
The beautiful island of Taketomi, in Okinawa, Japan, has experienced a rapid decline in tourism due to the economic downturn. Because of the lack of visitors the island now faces a shortage of doctors. While the 10 older residents on the island reminisce about the past, the locals talk about ways to increase tourism. But while they talk, the smiles seem to be vanishing from the resident's faces.
Then one morning brothers Koichi Nakahama (Masashi Mikami) and Shunichi Nakahama (Tetsuya Makita), looking for tourist spots to promote, come across a girl (Riho Iida) collapsed on the beach. The girl eventually takes a job at an inn the brothers' parents own. The girl works hard at the inn and her mysterious knack to heal the sick quickly becomes known around the island. The smiles on the resident's faces slowly comes back ...
