Hitoshi Ueki (Koji Yamamoto) is a member of Crazy Cats. They become popular with their song “Sudara Bushi.” Hitoshi and his band appear on TV and in movies. Due to his busy schedule, Hitoshi hires Masaomi Matsuzaki (Jun Shison) to take care of him and drive him. Masaomi Matsuzaki came to Tokyo from Hakata. His father died when he was a child and he begins to call Hitoshi Ueki father. Hitoshi Ueki, his wife Tomiko (Yuka) and his father (Shiro Ito) accept Masaomi Matsuzaki as part of their family. Masaomi Matsuzaki aspires to become an entertainer.
