Rei Kosaka (Shotaro Mamiya) is a 3rd grade high school student. He is not interested in anything and lives a boring existence. One day, Rei Kosaka sees his classmate Nana Kano (Hinako Sakurai) burying a dead bee. He takes an interest in Nano Kato, who carefully deals with a bee's life, because she keeps telling him that she wants to die.

Gellie Mar 27 2021 5:06 am Just finished watching the movie. I was searching randomly for movies when my skepticism found this. Wasn't even aware that Shotaro Mamiya is here (loved him fr Yamada-kun and bosskoi). For those who were planning to watch this, expect that the "comedy" tag on the movie as it was listed isn't the comedy you're expecting to have like in romcom. 9/10 for me, because of the actors' portrayal and how they effectively conveyed emotions despite the staleness of the material till the end (i thought the lack of sfx was to convey how "empty" the characters felt, but i got it wrong lol it was until the end). The plot is.... expected, but it will still move your emotions.

Junpei Dec 10 2020 7:16 am What the heck did i just watched?? :( everyone recommended this to me but this was too dragging and could have developed the characters more earlier, feels like they wasted much time. I was waiting for the mentioned "plot twist" , but was never surprised with anything. Sorry just my honest review. :(

Yamki Jul 04 2020 11:21 pm This movie literally made me bawl for some minutes straight, particularly the plot twist part. The scenes will give you a ticket to your own memory lane. The cinematography leaves you with a nostalgic feeling and a sense of dread (esp if you find the issues relatable). The lead actors have an amazing chemistry. It's not your typical japanese teen movie. It's a concoction of light and dark themes. I commend Shotaro Mamiya and Hinako Sakurai's acting here. It's 10/10 for me!

yaojkhoow Jun 28 2020 8:03 am Highly recommend. It was 10/10 for me. The plot is very good. The meaning of the story was conveyed really well by all actors. (Personally, I like the main couple and all of supporting roles). All actors portrayed their characters nicely.

I had fun watching it, I laughed, I smiled, and I kinda felt empty after watching it. Overall, I wont forget this movie.

saisan Jun 25 2020 3:11 am read some comments about this movie and they say its a real tear jerker and amazing plot twist, so i gave it a try....look, its a nice movie and theres a good morale to the story. The main character building and the chemesty was good and the side storys kind of dragged the movie out abit too long for my liking. Tear jerker? well it was sad but not quite enough for the water works to kick in!!! plot twist? i still fail to see where that came in....if anything, its was a coincidental destiny...but all in all, i liked the movie....6/10 for me...enjoy it on a rainy day :)
