Min-Young is a college student in Seoul who enjoys listening to Mozart. She becomes attracted to a picture which her grandmother left behind. The picture is of a Japanese family which was taken during the war. Because of the picture, Min-Young travels to Japan. As she meets people there, she finds herself experiencing indirectly the hardships of the Japanese family in the picture.
