A group of people, possessing special abilities, disguise themselves as a family to survive against heinous criminals. Han Young-Soo (Bae Doo-Na) is a loving mother with a special ability. Baek Chul-Hee (Ryoo Seung-Bum) is a father who hides his special ability. He has a timid personality, but he loves his wife Han Young-Soo a lot. Baek Gang-Sung (Baek Yoon-Sik) is a grandfather who shows abrupt manner, but he cares his family a lot. Baek Ji-Hoon (Lomon) and Baek Ji-Woo (Lee Su-Hyun) are 17-year-old brother and sister. Baek Ji-Hoon has a warm and gentle personality, while Baek Ji-Woo is picky and sensitive.

Kris Sep 10 2025 11:40 am Watched this drama some months ago, and immediately knew it was one of those that will never leave my head! I Love this family, and all their quirks and weirdness, and I truly love the connection of the husband and wife as well like this is exactly why I love Bae Doo-Na because she knows exactly what to bring to a role and delivers everytime! And I've seen Ryoo Seung-Bum's name around but what a great performance from him as well. Truly will never get enough a=of this drama and I Neeeeed a season 2 please :') I don't think I've wanted a season 2 this badly since Vagabond, but I would love to see this story develop and to meet with this family again. The connection is so sweet despite everything, and the gore is right up my alley like I really can't sing enough high praises. I'll be waitingg for season twooo~

Kris Mar 19 2025 11:56 pm It's so refreshing and from at least what I've watched in my time of watching dramas it doesn't seem to resemble anything else! Massiveeee kudos to the directors and writers of this drama. My jaw DROPPED several times but especially on episode 5. Very hot and bloody. I love the family dynamic and the growth that they have with each other. The relationship between the wife and the husband was shocking to me at the end but idc I feel his love and devotion to his wife genuinely! I can't wait for season 2 and this drama is just another reason on my never-ending list of why I love Bae Doo-Na! I've been watching Buried Hearts and that's captured my attention as well but so far on this kdrama list that I've made for myself, I'd completely give this drama 10/10! Truly Young-Soo's acting not only the last episode but also in her scenes with Gil-Ja or Hae-Pal, and definitely in the scenes with herself where she has these subtleties of trying to be more mother-like and warm are amazing to watch! The smiling in the mirror bit was my favorite part. Also either it was nicely paced or I really enjoy the fact that it's only 6 episodes. In this case they came with a story and complicated characters but showed strength within the family, humor along with gore and blood (for me I'm pleasantly surprised the lengths they went to though ofc it became unsettling at times, it speaks to the artistry of the choices made and the severity of the choices)

Kris Mar 19 2025 7:43 pm Wowwww! I'm about to be on episode 6 but episode 5 had me Gobsmacked! I love how the family comes together even with tough subjects and hard truths! The love the husband has for the wife is so sweet :') Idk if they have the same2 directors for all the episodes or if one specifically handled episode 5 (especially where it got hot & bl**dy) but absolutely fabulous job to the writer as well. I'm crossing my fingers heavy for a second season, and this is honestly a perfect show for me. I've been watching dramas for a while, and this feeling of shock and amazement is not something I've felt in a while. I'll see how ep 6 ends it off but I've absolutely loved how this show has played out. Also this is just another reason on my never-ending list of why I love Bae Doo-Na!

Bea Jan 06 2025 1:12 am Just finished this series and i couldn't contain my happiness and satisfaction. This is by far the best kdrama of 2024, the storyline, plot twist, and characters are all superb!

Highly recommended! Thriller with subtle comedy (i so love the quirkiness) and the story is all about family as the title says. If you are already tired of highly promoted romance dramas that are overrated and cliche, try to cleanse with this fresh and unique concept, you will not feel disappointed. Especially its the iconic doona bae's drama!

Ps. This is a wild and bold drama with gores throughout each episodes so watch at ur own risks. Hihi

Divine Dec 30 2024 5:08 pm From start to finish, this series did not disappoint. I watched it because of the moving director, but stayed for its quirkiness. Also, it was gore but it wasn't irritating(This is coming from someone who hates gore) I loved this drama.

I just knew I had to watch this show when I saw Bae Doona, but I wasn’t expecting there to be only 6 episodes though. The only scene that made me uncomfortable was Myung Hwan’s and Gil Ja’s scene at the end of ep 5, I wasn’t ready for that lol
