Joan Rowe May 23 2020 3:23 pm I like Asian dramas but how naive and ignorant some of the characters are portraited is so unrealistic that it is no longer entertaining. One single female made fools out of all other characters. Even other bad male characters are given redemptive values at the end that they don’t come off as genuine. This one was hard to enjoy. Most people aren’t this stupid. I hope!

ChaRang Feb 22 2020 12:19 am Sooooo I almost stopped watching this drama a few time,but i soldered through it. Hyun Ji should have been commuted to a mental health hospital. I’m also going to put this in the fantasy category of dramas. Like how did she get away with so much stuff. Then get caught red headed and then blame someone else. That’s crazy stuff. So much rage. She needed help mentally.

Almost all 50 plus episode dramas are relentless setback stories filled with lying, deceit and scenarios that would never happen in real life. Sooooo bad that you get emotionally charged but keep watching to see what happens next.

CYVIEW Jan 22 2015 9:05 am This drama went over the top. Events and attitudes came off as highly unlikely if not for human beings. One character was typical. Cha Hyun-Jung, is an incredibly beautiful woman, BUT her character was offended, arrogant and plotting from ep 1 and at ep 112, she was still offended, arrogant and plotting - running the gamut of emotions from A to B. It is not clear whether the writing could have included more variation in expression or the performer's skills might have grown over the more than a hundred episodes. It got to be the same old same old. Here she come again.

carol Jan 09 2015 7:43 am She DUMBEST victim. The writers THINKS VIEWERS ARE stupid. The story parallels almost EXACTLY the story involving Oh Shinye in Take my hand. The sex of the background characters is the only thing g that changed. Ha en Yu character is stooopid. She keeps making dumb mistakes over and over. Dumbass. I know this will be deleted. Policemen are NEVER the only one on duty in a real police office. They never leave public files open or vulnerable when an outsider visits. Are the writers high schoolers? There are cameras in police stations...endless flaws to this story...

Shon Jan 01 2015 3:09 pm This drama is becoming so stupid that it is not interesting. Who writes these senseless dialogues and how can the directors continue this drama. I cannot believe how dumb they make Hauen where she enters Hujins car believing they are going to the police. We have viewed over 100 episodes and Hauen still believes Hujin is telling the truth. In addition, how can the father put up with his daughter with all of the incidences she is involved in. You can easily predict what will occur in each epiisode.to where you do not need to view it. Please put us out of misery and end it quickly. Another twenty or more episodes is simply ridiculous.

How can a CEO of a conglomerate be so lacking and accepting the behavior of his daughter. Anyone In her position would have been fired in a minute which makes this drama very unrealistic. This constant criminal activity of the daughter is very monotonous and is extremely stupid to continue. You make your actors one dimensional to where their actions are predictable.. Furthermore, you make certain characters appear stupid, such as the CEOS and the Kimchee master. Before you begin to lose your audience, please puts us out of our misery and end this drama quickly.

Coco Bwanausi Dec 02 2014 12:24 pm OK. Adding to the continually growing list of crimes I now will add attempted murder. This lady's rap sheet is as long as both of her arms and legs put together. The thing that I find so annoying about Korean soaps is that the characters are so one-dimensional. If someone is "good" they are too good to be true, I mean that butter would not melt into their mouth good; if someone is "bad", they are so bad that they would make the Devil, himself, blush. If someone is "stupid" they are just block-heads all the time. Radish, what is his role really in this soap except to be slow and dumb. Se-Chan, the brother-in-law, is a big, dumb fellow who cannot think for himself and even sells out his own family for a little money. Honestly, he should not be let out of the house without a baby-sitter! So now he has been beaten up by the goons of the villainess to an inch of his life but I bet if she offered him more money to do dastardly deeds against his family he would. I do not get the logic of this soap; first the villainess was after the protagonist's husband, then her daughter even to the point of trying to change her name. She seems to have lost interest in her new husband and his daughter and is after this stupid ring doing all kinds of things and employing all illegal methods to get it back. There is no rhyme nor reason to her acts except to anger and annoy her antagonist. Now she is trying to persuade her father to take a trip overseas so that she can finish off her enemies Shin Tae-Kyung and Yoo Ha-Eun. He is refusing to go so she gets her equally evil mother to persuade her hapless husband to take her to Europe with him. Again I say that the Chairman is being portrayed as being a little slow on the uptake. Are we really to believe that someone who is in charge of such a large conglomerate is such a bad judge of character? Perhaps he has a blind spot because it is his family that we are talking about. The daughter's antics are beyond annoying; she is so childish and spoiled; the way she walks and stomps out of rooms and throws things around like her handbag and whatever is within her firing range. All I can say now is please end this. We got the point many episodes ago; it has become boring and repetitious; why prolong our agony any further?

Coco Bwanausi Nov 13 2014 12:02 pm OK, I am counting all the sins of the villainess. To what I have already put on her rap sheet I can now add arson and creating an illegal slush fund. The chairman is an enigma to me; is he really that clueless about his wife and daughter's shenanigans? It seems to me that he has been really slow to catch onto their evil ways. But everything in this soap is slow. I sure hope that we do not have to wait for another 60 episodes for this wicked woman to pay for all her sins.

It has taken 65 episodes for the father to finally slap that stupid daughter of his. If he had done more of that when she was younger we would not have had to deal with such a spoiled brat and an evil character. I tell you if this soap had been produced in the US it would have been cancelled long ago due to poor content and low ratings. How many more times must we see the wicked witch look into the camera and smile an evil smile? How many more times are we to see the heroine look into the camera and cry or sigh? NO, I DO NOT FEEL SORRY FOR YOU ANYMORE. Are there really no family courts in Korea whereby custody of the child can be solved, once and for all? This tit for tat stuff is ridiculous. Are people in Korea really that hard up for money that she can just throw some money at people and they will compromise their values. I am just waiting for this Daughter of the Devil to try and bribe the police who are investigating her. I am just waiting for this Satan's Spawn to trip herself up. She has told so many lies to so many people how does she keep track of them all? Must the whole of Korea really kow-tow to her? This soap is shining a dreadful light on Korean society; money will solve all problems. It does not matter what you do; so long as you have money you can get away with anything. Already I have this dragon lady for bribery and corruption, child cruelty, falsifying medical records, falsifying a hit and run accident, kidnapping and unlawful detention, tampering with the food supply, filing false charges about contaminated food, the list is endless. And that is just the point. We do not need 3000 examples of what a rotten, low down, dirty, scoundrel she is, just a few good examples would suffice. Anyway whoever the writers are big F for Fail. They insult our intelligence at each and every turn.I thought that Korea has a censorship board, whoever the block-head was who gave the green light to this project being made is just that, a block-head. Please, I beg of you no more of this, please end it and take us out of our misery.

LOL but what the hell? the entire interior of the car was engulfed in flames. she should be dead or at the very least permanently disfigured with 3rd degree burns to 90+ percent of her body.

amp Oct 30 2014 8:56 pm what a cheap ending. anyways for the last few months, I just wanted to know what will be the ending relationship between Tae-kyung and Ha-eun. that's the only reason I watched. sure had to put up with a lot of irrelevant, corny, bullsh#t episodes to finally reach the end.

I say cheap ending because letting the evil daughter die is too easy. she should be suffering in jail rotting away. had to put up with the constant irritating screaming/temper-tantrums by the evil daughter... and the viewer doesn't even get the satisfaction of seeing her suffer in jail....

vanilla fudge Oct 28 2014 1:16 pm I am a free enterprise guy, but something as horrible as this really needs for the government to step in and put the clamps on this horrible producer, director, and these writers who laugh at and mock their audience with these asinine absurdities.

For kids to be watching this travesty is a sin. No wonder Korea today is a place for kids to grow up with absolutely no accountability whatsoever. Where mayors hire hit men to punish their enemies and half the recent presidents have done prison time. Women are shown to be both cowardly and retarded, and girls now grow up with revenge on their mind, culminating in a sky rocketing divorce rate, and a place where men are afraid to marry.

What is so terribly awful, is that most Korean soap dramas, with just a few exceptions, (Dong Yi, Jewel In the Palace, Full House, The Duo), have now resorted to this garbage.

But over all they make Korean women like a kids with 3 years old brain and have to take all the abuse either emotion or money. Get the grip. Why all main character always has to get treated bad for the whole term of the drama and only have 1 single short moment of joy and victory. This is so stupid and narrow mind from the writer.

jong-il Oct 08 2014 2:35 pm this drama is frustratingly stupid. it should only be 50 episodes long. but they're stretching it by throwing in the most illogical, overdone, impossible, idiotic scenarios that they can think of. at times, I feel embarrassed watching this mess... but I still watch because, its sooooo bad that its good. the dumb scenes in this drama makes me laugh, and the horrible over-acting by the evil girl.... now that is entertainment.

Korean dramas make women look so weak and stupid. She needs to fight for herself and her child. I also agree and don't like how they show abuse to the daughter and like she is property of the wicked step mother and what is the father doing to protect his child. I realize the writers want to make it a drama but come on no one's life is this bad and so much evil with those around Something big needs to be revealed to make this show worth watching

Coco Bwanausi Aug 31 2014 10:10 pm I refuse to watch anymore of this drama. I tell you I will not watch it anymore. This is a drama about domestic violence. Domestic violence does not have to be all physical, it starts off as emotional and financial abuse and then leads to physical violence, sometimes ending in death. The episodes that I have watched leave my stomach churning and I become enraged when I see it. This poor wife is so put upon and the scuzzy husband and his ridiculously thin girlfriend are made to look attractive just because she is rich and wealthy and the only daughter of whatever company. But I tell you she is beyond mean; she is evil personified, she is the Devil's spawn. It would take too long to wait and see whether the husband and girlfriend get the comeuppance they so richly deserve but I will not wait to find out. BTW I have worked as a counselor and advocate for victims of domestic violence which is the reason why I am having such a visceral reaction to this drama.

Dawn Jul 07 2014 3:50 pm Although, I just found this drama by accident (woke up early to get ready for work and say it on the television) after watching a few minutes I was instantly in like with this drama. Althought, it seems to follow the same formula as most all Korean dramas, it's still good to have something to watch when you wake up early.

I also like the fact that I am Kim Ho-Jin in this drama...I've watched you on Good Eats (interesting variety show). I really wish this drama didn't come on so early (6:30a.m. in States) so I could catch it a later part of the day....that aside. I find it a loveble drama and wish it the best in ratings.

llama Jun 24 2014 10:41 pm i really wish they'd further the storyline. there is almost no progression at all. every episode the evil lady throws a temper tantrum, and trys to make life for the ex-wife miserable. ex-husband keeps telling ex-wife to quit. the daughter wants to eat her mothers kimchi. then theres the awkward relationship between the two main characters.... every episode so far is a rinse and repeat of these things
