Plot

Kitagawa and Saito, both aspiring to be a movie director, win awards at a movie festival but can not become a professional movie director.

With support from a small theater manager named Araki, Saito decides to make movies the director and leading role of which are Saito herself. She wears a strange costume and calls herself Strawberry, and gradually gains popularity in the independent movie scene.

On the other hand, Kitagawa does not do well though he has absolute confidence in himself. Soon the relationship with his next heroine, Sakurako, is over. Soon after the break up with Sakurako, he runs into his old acquaintance, Yamamoto. Yamamoto persuades him to become a porno movie director, and Kitagawa gets popularity in the porno movie industry. However, he never gives up to become a real movie director.

One day, Yamamoto takes Kitagawa to the premiere of Saito's movie, where Kitagawa and Saito see each other for the first time in ten years. Araki offers Kitagawa to direct movie for a theater.

"Would you like to direct a porno movie starring Strawberry and show it at my theater ?"

Araki plans to promote Strawberry with such an idea that is to show a porno movie at a public theater for the first time in history. For Kitagawa it is a great opportunity, so he tries to make this movie special.
