Plot
"Dazai Osamu Monogatari" covers famed writer Osamu Dazai's (Etsushi Toyokawa) life. In particular, his relationship with fellow writer and mentor Masuji Ibuse (Isao Hashizume), his many personal relationships (Wife Michiko Ishihara (Shinobu Terajima), fan Shizuko Ota (Miho Kanno), mistress Tomie Yamazaki (Ayumi Ito)) and his frequent suicide attempts.
