Makoto (Mari Hoshino) teaches Japanese at a high school. Her husband Kengo (Tomonori Jinnai) works as an architect. They have been married for 10 years and their relationship is good, but they do not have children. Makoto's mother Shinobu wishes they would have a child. On the day they are to leave for Jakarta on a trip, Kengo has a problem at work. Makoto goes on to Jakarta with the expectation that Kengo will join her later. While in Jakarta, Makoto walks around the city and meets Ryota Yuki (Hidekazu Mashima). They spend time together until they have to go their separate ways, but Makoto meets Ryota again in Japan.
