Han Jul 12 2017 4:46 am I think Choi Ho-Chul script in "Mask" is the best I've encountered so far. I have never guessed correctly what's next to the character's lines. It was so unpredictable. I will try to check the latest Kdrama -The Happiest Time of My Life. I hope the script is getting better and better.

And thank you for the beautiful ending. It was a well thought of ending where the bad guys are punished and the good guys lived happily ever after. Please write more stories similar to this. One that until the last 2nd episode, no one can guess the ending...and when we cry out for the next episode after the last one. Great job! Just my opinion, do spice up your story with a little loovy-doovy scene...like episode 14 I think..when Ji-Sook and Min-Woo kissed so passionately in the open ground of the court house, only to be totally sane, fully dressed in the comfort of their bedroom. I felt like a pail of ice cold water was poured on me. :'( A little hint that they had became very close will surely draw your viewers...really...believe me. Love your work. Fighting.

Mask is an interesting, entertaining, creative one, too. (Please avoid fashion dictated overboarding eg. when lead wants to buy half of the jewelry store to his mother in law - but this was the only negative, disturbing element for me so far and I love this drama, too). Thank you and please carry on writing, I shall wait for your next projects and definitely shall watch them.

wissal Jul 19 2015 8:01 pm i love mask. i've seen a lot of dramas and it's one of my favorites. it's exciting and keeps you on the edge. the characters in this drama are masking their true identity and with every episode they are loosing one layer of the mask revealing new realities. ji sook tries to mask her longing for love and financial stability, min woo tries to mask his longing for mental health and love, suk hoon tries to mask his longing for revenge and illegal materialistic gain, mi yon tries to mask her longing for marital love and security with suk hoon but instead is blessed with a new found maturity enabling her to separate friends from foes and truth from lies. every episode offers a new set of challenges and trials to the protagonists both socially and personally, trials we might enjoy or dread nevertheless making every episode filled with suspense and fulfillment. every episode offers a new info about ji sook and sheds a new light on min woo's character. min woo seems to be a weak guy physically and mentally, he is also compliant to his father attempting to advance his career, but with every trial a new side of him appears contradicting our first impressions about him. he shows maturity and pragmatism when trying to profit his company and helping the market's local people at the same time, he shows sympathy and self confidence when he trusts a total stranger (ji sook) which is unlike him for the first time in his life and helps her (letting her go to her brother and lending her a big sum of money), he shows new acquired social skills as well as boldness when singing at her birthday, he shows courage and sacrifice when trying to save ji sook from danger at the charity event. min woo doesn't seem like a weak man in fact i like to think of him as a child, introvert and shy, playful but not mischievous trying to be an ideal son, and forever seeking his lost mother. he is able to exceed our expectations and surpass his limitations without the nonsensical change k-dramas normally offer, he still dreads people, he still has no friends, he's still unable to rebel against his father, he's still emotionally and physically unstable. which is truer to human nature because people normally don't change after meeting their significant other. ji sook on the other hand and when stricken with sudden wealth and unlike all k-drama protagonists is surprisingly a very charitable person, a feature rarely seen in k-drama heroines, she not only helps her parents but also her friends and society, she is not greedy and is willing to share. and her dream of upgrading the canteen's menu which might have been said from an employee's point of view was in fact realized after she became an employer and thus materialized her idealistic views. though ascending to the highest ranks ji sook remains a hard-worker and never resorts to laziness allowing her to understand better the deceased so eun ha and her lover suk hoon and to use assets eun ha herself wouldn't have been able to use for her own benefit thus overcoming many obstacles and threats. the prescription she finds determines min woo's survival in the company, the murder video halts suk hoon's initial plan to turn min woo into a mental patient, eun ha's pictures with suk hoon although degrading are used to shake the family's confidence in suk hoon. ji sook is able to use one of eun ha's doctor acquaintance intelligently to prove the reality about min woo's mental problem, she memorizes eun ha's friends and is able to recognize them and greet them naturally, she proves to be a smart socialite at the presidency support event, she emotionally uses her politician father to stop her father-in-law from giving up his shares. but the best trial was her ability to play the piano which not only surprises her enemies but also the spectators who are thrilled at her capacity to transcend social stature. the kind ji sook with her increasing boldness and wit, becomes a protector. she is the mother min woo, the child and adult, are longing for. helping him reshape his personality. thank you for giving us the usual k-drama characters but in an unusual way.

  I love how the character Ji Sook/ Eun Ha has changed. She now have guts and is capable of taking care of herself. I thank you for changing her to a better more interesting person.
  I congratulate you for Mask is a very interesting drama. The plot is unique and the story is told in a way that is easy to follow but still keeps your interest. More power to you. Please write more stories like this.

 I really appreciate you creating the drama Mask. It is really a very well written drama. Kept me at the edge and keep wanting more. I wish this drama is daily instead of weekly. But you forget something. You didn't consider your viewer's intelligence. Most of your viewers like me are smart people. We are strong, intelligent and capable women/men. Please don't insult us with character like Ji Sook. Enough of this Ji Sook dumb and stupid character. Give us someone who'll fight back even if she failed as long as she's fighting. That is what women are in real world.
  Please keep Mask interesting. And thank you for the story.

As the drama progresses on, the quality of writing is deteriorating? Is it due to pressure/stress? Please STOP making Seo EunHa/Byun Ji Sook SO STUPID!!!. We the viewers want a smart lead NOT an utterly dumb, hopelessly helpless lady!!! You have written her character to be utterly dumb long enough, time to switch gears and make Ji Sook make up her mind and decide - to be either continue to be utterly stupid Ji Sook or to smarten up as Eun Ha! All Ji Sook has been doing are just pure repeats of dumbness, NOT naivety. Please resume the great quality of your writing as per Episode 1 and 2.

Your last drama 'Secret' is a must watch and a brilliant melodrama with out-of-this-world electrifying chemistry from the leads and I'm hoping the same for this one. I am glad you chose Soo-Ae as your lead female because I think she's perfect for melos and can really bring out the best in every written plot by the writer. I am definitely watching Mask because of your awesome fast-paced great writing and the incredible female lead actress.
