Hoshimitsu Kokku (Tasuku Emoto) is a cop with a professional level culinary skills. He often mixes the two as he abides by the idea that "food doesn't lie." Hoshimitsu Kokku often recreates meals of victims to understand them better and invites suspects for meals to better grasp their guilt or innocence. Meanwhile, Azumi Nanase (Ruriko Kojima) is a cop and work partner of Hoshimitsu Kokku. She is constantly on edge dealing with Hoshimitsu Kokku unconventional investigative methods.
