In the year 1791, Sojiro Aisaka (Takahiro Hamada) is a samurai and also a popular shunga (erotic art) painter. But, he is banned for corrupting public morality with his drawings. He is arrested and is about to be executed. At that time, Sojiro Aisaka finds himself in the present day. He meets manga writer Miyagami, who becomes Sojiro Aisaka’s teacher. Sojiro Aisaka also begins to work as an assistant to Miyagami. Sojiro Aisaka soon meets a woman and he falls in love with her at first sight.
