Veteran police detective Youhei Shimazaki investigates an accounting fraud case by Nichiwa Bank, when he learns that his eldest son Jotaro Shimazaki (Tomofumi Okumura) may have passed along classified information to Nichiwa Bank employee Kazuo Tomioka (Takaki Uda). Youhei Shimazaki attempts to protect his son from the investigation, when Nichiwa Bank employee Kazuo Tomioka is murdered.
Detective Shimazaki feels a temporary sense of relief that Jotaro's involvement is now safe, but then his youngest son Shinji Shimazaki (Kengo Kora) becomes the prime suspect in Tomioka's murder ...
