Drama series is set within the turbulent period between the Japanese colonial era and the division of Korea into North and South. Kang San (Do Ji-Han) is from a poor family. He struggles to get away from poverty. Through the game of basketball, he becomes successful and meets a girl from the upper class. He dreams of their love overcoming the disparity in their social standing

Notes

"Basketball" takes over the tvN Mondays & Tuesdays 22:00 time slot and will be replaced by "In Need of Romance 3”.
Filming begins June, 2013.
Story is inspired by the Korean Basketball Team that participated in the 1948 London Olympics. That 1948 team is the first and last team to take part in Olympics under a unified Korea name.

Xariii May 12 2016 9:31 pm I'm only on the first episode right now, but as of now I think the basketball scenes, when they fight others to get the ball, are more interesting than the actual basketball scenes. Story I like for now but who knows when I won't like it :)

El drama es muy interesante, te toma desde el principio, lastima que los suben super lentos y para que hablar de las traducciones al español, me llego a enojar con tanta demora.
