Everything is going well for housewife (Kumiko Watanabe) in the Tachibani family. She's able to make soft-boiled egg, pour soy sauce without overflowing and calculate prices at the market. While thinking that something good might happen to her, the mother is hit by lightning hit. She now has telepathic powers.
Later that night, the mother bends a spoon proudly in front of husband, and children Megan (Fumiko Orikasa) and Yuzuhiko (Daisuke Sakaguchi). The next day she uses her power to vacuum, do laundry and cook. Family members are surprised by all of this, but as time goes by they get used to it. The mother then decides to help other people with her power. Without her family knowing, the mom disguises herself as Esupa Mamaen - the righteous hero.
She helps others like a high school student who dropped 500 yen in a hole, a woman who causes bicycles to fall over like dominos in the bicycle parking lot, a rock singer who is lost & late for his concert & a cat stuck in a tree. But, while doing her heroic deeds, she neglects to do chores at home. That evening' dinner consists of just Chikuwa & rice bean-paste soup. Her family is about to explode.
Megan tells her mom that she just likes to meddle in other people's affairs. The mom is shocked and swept by anger and sadness. Without knowing herself, the mom uses her psychic power to blow Megan away. Besides the mansion their live starts cracking. Now the mom, Megan and Yuzuhiko are waken by their dad's voice. The mansion has tilted.
