Prior to World War II, a special police unit officer is killed in the mountain. Amakasu (Arata Furuta) is the commander of the special police unit and implements a brutal crackdown against the mountain villagers. The tension between the special police and the villagers get more tense. Ren (Ryunosuke Matsumura) is a young man in the village and he years for the outside world. His older sister Ran (Kaede Aono) is in the hospital with a blood disease. Because of Ran, Ren is unable to leave. A girl in a uniform appears in front of Ren and introduces herself as Sayo (Kanon Miyahara).
