I first discovered her from Love 020. Those spiteful people who bad mouth her are either out of mere jealousy or easily influenced by others' bad comments, need to grow up!!!

A Oct 09 2013 11:30 pm I don't agree with the extent of the plastic surgery rumors. By this, I mean that she MAY have, but I don't think it's as drastic as everyone thinks it is in all those before/after photos. And here's why:

I had the most hideous overbite as a kid (like so bad they had to pull out 4 teeth to make room). After the braces came off in high school, I already started to look like a different person. After a series of bad haircuts, I figured out what worked for my face and what didn't. After finally learning how to do my makeup correctly after college, after losing all the baby fat in my face, after countless face-slimming massages... Not trying to toot my own horn, but I look pretty damn good (with makeup), at least compared to 10 years ago. Some people's faces don't change that much as they age, but some change drastically.

Sometimes people forget those before/after photos of Angelababy are like comparing an awkward teenager to the matured grown-up. I think it's a little sad that people get so judgmental just cause someone's pretty. Seriously, just enjoy the view; no need to criticize it.

maneki hobbang Oct 01 2011 1:25 pm my opinions about her is as unbiased as one can get. the honest truth is: seeing like her in the media and seeing her in films makes her seem like two completely different people to me. if you know her, you, no doubt, had learned about her from tabloids. when i first saw her, i saw her in her candid photos and tabloid magazines. even her name annoyed me. but when i began watching hot summer days (because all the other hot actors), i couldn't recognize her at all, and i loved her from her first appearance. she acts as low class, factory girl sweaty from the summer heat. she doesn't look glamorous like she does in photoshoots. and she speaks traditional mandarin (as opposed to speaking with in an annoying girly style, which i thought she did). she did act snobby in "love in space" only because she was SUPPOSED to. i haven't watched any of her other works, but once you watch her performance in hot summer days, it will change your impression of her.

This side show satirises her and her so called "natural" beauty now, if she really was plastic-free, why would this show do something like that? anyways, lets just SAY she is natural. all of her campaigns, ads etc etc are photoshopped along with every single other model. so really in reality, she's not as perfect as she looks. watch her in beautiful cooking, there's no way she's down_to_earth. more like a suckup
