A city is infected by a mysterious virus, which causes the city to spiral out of control. Joon-Woo (Yoo Ah-In) and Yoo-Bin (Park Shin-Hye) struggle to survive in an isolated apartment complex from those infected with the virus. Everything including internet, phone, and electricity has been disconnected around the apartment.

Like a lil thump can attract zombie, but then a big thud noise didn't attract them, the water supply, electricity etc etc, sooo many inconsistent things. The story is about stay alive, that's it. If u don't have that much time it's not worth watching, sorry

Good Movie Feb 17 2021 8:26 pm I don't understand the hate. You can tell from the preview of the movie it's mostly the characters being alone in their apartments trying to survive. It's not an action packed zombie movie. I thought it was really good and kind of realistic (how people would be if something like zombies were to happen)

Nikki Oct 26 2020 7:35 am The rating I give this movie would be 5/10 it wasn't that bad but also not that great. It's alright if you are bored and just want something quick to watch. I do like Yoo Ah-In he is a talented actor and I look forward to his future projects.

If however you enjoy watching zombie type of movies/dramas I would recommend - Train to Busan (Movie) - if you have not watched this yet what are you waiting for? - Kingdom (Series) 10/10 one of the best Zombie series I have watched. I have watched Season 1 & 2 in 4 days!

A boring rip-off with no authenticity or character development. Sep 21 2020 11:41 pm This is an exact rip-off of Dead Days besides the fact that the FL in Dead Days is disabled. Other than that, everything is the same.

Through the entire movie, it drags and drags. Any time there is action, miracles save the MC. Even in the end when they're seemingly cornered by a wave of zombies, a helicopter shows up out of nowhere (which we couldn't even hear before, by the way) and rescues the main characters and yaaaaaay happily ever after.

I mean it's just so mediocre. It doesn't deserve an 86 (at the time I'm writing this). It didn't live up to the hype.

I mean, it would be a good movie if it wasn't almost exactly the same to Dead Days on Webtoon with some little aspects from Sweet Home, also on Webtoon. I feel like the creators obviously knew about this because some scenes are the exact same to the comic. It feels really unfair to the comic creator and... very dissapointing. The directors of the movie didn't really put any effort into expanding the character's personality or anything about the movie, they basically got the bare minimum.

The lyrics say “someday...however...somehow.” From the credits it looks like it may be the same name as the movie (#Alive) by Inni but I’m not too sure. Tried Shazam, Google and YouTube but I can’t seem to find it.

Nova Sep 12 2020 11:20 pm Some of you need to realize that not every tragedy needs to have romance. If you want romance, seek a romance film rather than always expecting one in action and thrillers. You're setting your own self up for disappointment by firmly expecting something to the point where you actually get upset over it when something doesn't go your way. Fix that attitude.

There's a few holes in the film that could've been worked on and improved but nonetheless the way the characters are portrayed is still more realistic (obviously not gonna be 100% realistic) than most other zombie apocalypse films out there. Not everybody is gonna run outside and destroy the zombies like a brave superhero so this at least felt comfortable for those who are more likely to stay sheltered for as long as they can. Movie dragged on because that's just reality but I do agree with the more reasonable reviewers that more details and information could've been added to know more about how it started, where it spread to, etc.

I personally enjoyed the whole film even if the protagonist was a little dense sometimes and had me worrying for his safety and health, I love the graphics and style of it too. If you like TTB and don't mind a calmer action film, you'll probably like this.

I'll say don't be expecting too high from celebrities cause they act according to the scripts and the reality the effects of the films. The film hit the box office and still making trends. So if you don't like it shut the crap and stop posting malicious comments. If you can't then try to go act one yourself. And note a film is always short and always predictable in most cases not like the dramas. Go sit down and rewatch.

There was no chemistry between the 2 main characters imo. There is literally no climax and it just went on a steady straight path. There’s just a lot of plot holes and massive lack of logic. When the credits roll, you’ll probably just think “that’s it???”.

What a shame considering they got 3 of the high tier actors.

Ending was very predictable. No climax . The cgi & artfx weir extraordinary though. Wish they would of gave out more info on the virus, how/where it started. Was it justa in Korea ? Was there a cure ? Did they just level the cities ? The protagonist had zero life skills and the more you watch the easier it was to just exit and watch another movie. The best part about this movie was the soundtrack and graphics. Director failed these good actors.

But both actors are very fresh and beautiful lol ( may b fresh than me after my 8 hours shift at work ) lol

The most lovely thing about movie is "Park Shin Aye " I love her sooo much she's my second favourite korean actress the acting was outstanding we can say it was really ? like train to Busan... It's not and normal movie it was an hit on box-office I love Shin Aye .. I don't think so kiss a matter it will ruined the movie romance is beautiful in good way ..

aky Sep 02 2020 5:47 pm the movie is okay. it isnt bad but it isnt that impressive either. i found it a very simple one. i did have fun watching it but i wouldnt compare it to amazing movies like TTB or Rampant. Overall, i liked the cuteness of the two main leads from after they found each other. Precious!

Alexey Sep 01 2020 1:19 am An amazing, atmospheric movie. Actors did the job well. It seems like a better movie than Peninsula, so it would be a better sequel to Train to Busan. Very suspenseful, emotional at times. Good ending - was really worried that I wont be able to sleep tonight if it ended badly, but it's kind of a good and hopeful ending. I honestly thought situation is a lot worse, but the statistics at the end... it really isnt much (even comparing to real world pandemic). Except for the fact that there people turn into zombies and die in awful pain and fear. But, back to the movie. Great one. Totally worth the watching. Never bored me.

James Aug 23 2020 8:00 am This movie was perfect and soo good. The unique approach to a zombie apocalypse live through the eyes of 2 people beginning in their apartments was like none other I've seen before, and the zombies being too smart that they can climb up a rope lmao.

This is not your usual walkthrough of multiple main characters which becomes messy and excessive having more of a overall view of the apocalypse rather than focusing only on two throughout. If this was a kdrama, its ratings would've probably skyrocketed since you don't usually see these type of kdramas

Because I saw somthing is similar to it before in a amovie traintobusan . I mean zombies and so on. But even so I felt every moment of the movie after what we went through because of the quarantine. As the movie also mentioned how to be appreciate and thankful with everything we have. Family,food,time... As usual, too, the embodiment of YooAhIn the character was perfect. I must have gotten used to his brilliant acting, but really I am fascinated every time I watch him

I've been waiting for this movie for a long time and I actually I love it, I don't understand why lots are hating on it, I know there were some plot holes but still it was so entertaining to watch, I loved it so much

This has such a cunning similarities with Dead Days in Webtoon. that's why I kept on searching if this movie was inspired or has any relation to dead days, but guess what it doesn't. I think their filming was affected by the pandemic that's why they produced an underwhelming movie.

In contrast infection can be bitten while from the virus it is through contact and short range airborne. I think this was started april or may based on the trailer. I really appreciate this movie what can a movie be a reality concept.
