A Farewell to Sorrow/ep. 1-30 Plot Synopsis
- ep. 1 Yeo-jin (Oh Yeon-soo) shocks her family by announcing that she'll marry a divorced man with a child. Seo-young (Park Sun-young) meets Jung-woo (Kim Dong-wan) for the first time by coincidence.
- ep. 2 Jung-woo apologizes to Seo-young and suggests that he run errands for her instead of compensating for her emotional damage. Sung-jae (Kang Nam-kil) borrows money from a loan shark Hae-sun (Lee Hae-sook) to help his brother, Sung-min (Lee Jong-won).
