near is my favorite character indeed. mello comes after. although i don't accept a near not playing with his WHITE hair, i really liked this child. sometimes i talked to myself "if i was l, i'd slap this guy," but l wouldn't so i came to like this child. his english was so fun when he was saying "two-five-five-ELEBEN." and i liked it when he started to scream after meeting l for the first time :)
