What was the piece that Sena's (Takuya Kimura) played in episode 10, at the competition? the one when Minami walked into the building.

Tomoko Yamaguchi the best!!...Her acting is superb and very very Original..that so many new generation actresses copycat her acting. Too bad the TV production didnt caste her for other roles because of her age. I really hate those situation what happened to her that time. Anyway, She is the legend for making this drama one of the best in Japanese Drama History. However, this is not for todays' teens who prefer cheesy girly stuff. This is truly for adult lovers as the characters have mature roles. After watching this drama, I also became fan of Japan Hero Takuya Kimura.

This romantic comedy is a true classic that deserves a special place among the jdoramas. Although released in 1996, its timeless exploration of the subject matter of love and human relationship is still entertaining to watch. The series shines in all departments including first class acting by some of Japan's most popular actors at the time. And not to mention outstanding musical scoring (Who can forget the LALALA Love Song and Sena's piano piece). I just love Tomoko Yamaguchi, she has such strong presence as the high spirited and energetic Minami, while Kimura's Sena is just... well, so cool! Although this is a romantic show, I found it to be very funny, like for example the jokes about Minami being the winner of the Miss Downstream Nagarawa River when she was much younger. If you haven't watched this, go watch it you won't regret it.

I was very excited to watch this as I am a fan of Kimura. Unfortunately I was left disappointed. The characters in this drama are not likeable at all. Everyone is very selfish and deciteful. Normally I don't mind a character here or there is is the bad guy or anti-hero. Instead these people do mean things to each other and I, as the viewer, feel like I'm expected to feel sorry for them. Or perhaps I'm suppose to relate to their flaws. Still, the only person I felt any connection to was Rumiko who gets stiffed, but she's the only innocent one. I really don't want to spoil anything so it's best to leave it at this. I suggest others watch it and form their own opinion. I read it was popular so I just may not get it.
