Jeon Ji-Hoon (Eric) disguises himself as a travel writer, but he is actually a secret agent for Interpol. His job as a secret agent is way for Jeon Ji-Hoon to support himself financially. He is currently divorced. He was married to Kang A-Reum (Yoo In-Na), but they divorced without Kang A-Reum learning about his secret life as a spy.

Kang A-Reum now works as a wedding dress designer. She met Derek Hyun (Lim Ju-Hwan) after her divorce and they eventually married. Her current husband works as a diplomatic official and seems gentle and warm. His secret is that he is actually a cold-blooded industrial spy. Derek Hyun treats his wife sweetly, but, for his job as an industrial spy, he will do anything. He loves Kang A-Reum sincerely, but he also hides his true self from her.

Secret agent Jeon Ji-Hoon appears in front of Kang A-Reum and Derek Hyun.

NM Jan 16 2021 2:32 am This drama is sooo underrated. It reallyyy has a good story, well-researched, well-acted, well-executed, good action scenes, and many lessons about marriage. There are also many tearjerker scenes! The pain Ji-hoon must endured... the love he always felt for Ah-reum... I can never see Eric as other characters. Yoo In-na and Lim Ju-hwan are very good as well! This drama is a gem and should be appreciated more!

Vi Dec 19 2020 7:19 pm Eric has matured a lot since my fave Another Oh Hae Young. But he's a good actor so it doesn't really matter as long as he lands a good role that suits him. I'm on episode 6 of this and quite enjoying it. Yoo In Na has a fairly good chemistry with both actors.

Jean Dec 18 2020 11:43 pm Congratulations to The Spies Who Loved Me casts, director, writter, staffs and crews for giving us this wonderful romance comedy, action drama series. I know that there are some difficulties while filming because of health safety and guideliness but happy because they finished it safely and everyone was healthy.

      Yoo In Na, Eric Mun and Lim Ju Hwan did a great job in portraying Ah Reum, Jihoon and Derek and also the supporting casts, they also did well. 
      I hope that Derek and Ah Reum will do again a series again because Yoo In Na and Lim Ju Hwan have really that natural and very good onscreen chemistry that the viewers had noticed. I want Derek and Ah Reum to be together in the end but we all know that it's Jihoon and Ah Reum were the main lead and they come back as a couple again. I'm still happy because Derek was not dead and free now but I think he was lonely without Ah Reum. Ah Reum said that Derek might find a new love in one of his travel. I hope Derek will find also his true happiness just like Ah Reum and Jihoon.

Jean Dec 16 2020 7:43 am Tonight's episode of The Spies Who Loved Me made me cried when Ah Reum remembered all their happy memories together with her husband Derek. I wanted them to be happy again as a husband and wife, but after Derek faked his death and made Ah Reum and everybody believed that he was dead, I am not sure if there will be an Ah Reum and Derek come back again. I think that Jihoon and Derek will become the past of Ah Reum in the end. I'm happy that none of the 3 main leads died in this drama series. I cried seing Ah Reum cried because of believing that Derek was dead already. I'm looking forward that Ah Reum and Derek will meet again because Ah Reum already found out that Derek was not really dead.

Especially Eric! you look more handsome and hansome everytime i watched you.. mwaaah! ❤

L Nov 30 2020 4:25 am i thought i could predict the ending of the spy drama that KAR will get back with JJH but after epi 10 i don't know what to predict anymore.. the plot now seemed focus on getting the boss of Helmes while KAR is determined to solve the death of sophie.probably the reason she's still keeping the files of sophie with her.. and the Interpol momentum has to slow down because of a mole in the group. espionage is one hell of a roller coaster ride you never know the person next to you would be the person to betray you. and that's kept me glued with this drama! exciting and tearing up the viewer all at the same time!

But Ahreum is facing problems now because of Derek but Jihoon is willing to help her and Derek. I'm thinking who was the Interpol police helping Helmes and on their side so that their operations were leaked.

LC Oct 22 2020 6:40 pm after watching the first two episodes i find this drama very interesting plus YIN is there too!i love their chemistry EM and YIN plus the action-packed scenes.the pacing is just right and so far no bored scenes yet.but im on to it cause this is what i want in a drama:romance, action, comedy, and sometimes make you teary-eyed.so far so very good!??

Somehow, it made me really sad that all his previous characters (well, except for Ugly Alert) eventually gave up on feelings to a woman: Shin HooYe in "The Bride of Habaek", Fukuda in "Different Dreams", Kang JoonHo in "The Great Show", even Gu DoKyung in "Towards Zero"... It's really annoying! I want him to have a leading role and a happy ending in marriage in the end!
