Masora Kureno (Mitsuki Takahata) is a physician. She works at a big hospital in Tokyo. During her busy days, Masora Kureno learns that she has a disease. She doesn't have money and wants to continue to her work as a physician. Hiding her disease, she applies for a position at Nijinomura Clinic in a small, mountain village. She gets hired by the clinic. There, she meets surgeon Saku Asagi (Arata Iura) and nurse Taiyo Aoyama (Takumi Kitamura). She also shares a house with them.

Facing her new life as a doctor and a patient, she becomes an indispensable person, who is loved by the people, in the clinic and village.

Notes

"Nizi Village Clinic" takes over TV Asahi's Thursdays 21:00 time slot previously occupied by "Seven Secretaries" and followed by "Tower of Justice" on April 15, 2021.

doram Aug 28 2021 9:22 am At first, by reading the synopsis only, I was not interested to watch this drama. I thought this is just like other usual human dramas. But I was wrong.

This is one of the best Jdramas out there. Definitely a must watch!!! Highly recommended for everyone, really. It's a simple and heartwarming drama about the struggle of those who are sick, making us think about life in a different perspective. Furthermore it's not just about touching story, the drama gives a satisfying amount of comedy too!!! I cracked up so hard at the end of ep 5. But every episode's story is good. The cast are top notch. I really like the main actors here. All of them did a very good job portraying the character's emotions. Brilliant. I'll give it 10/10 and I'm not exaggerating.

The lady doctor is going to die because there is no cure for her disease and can't really count on her co-residents, a male doctor and a male nurse, for personal care in her daily life for long. What is she going to do when she can no longer take care of herself? The series ends there, so we are spared the harsh and ugly realities that we know will eventually come.
