Plot
The documentary film series, ≒(near equal) Vol.5. features the avant-garde artist, Yayoi Kusama.
The documentary has finally been completed. It took a tremendous effort of one and half years shooting Kusama, the artist who never stops advancing in the international art world.
The camera records the essence of her art as it wells up in the conflict between life, death and love, sometimes quietly, and sometimes, just the opposite.
So the film quickly accosts the audience and takes them into an unknown world and shaking them to their souls without missing a beat.
This film covers a pivotal moment for Kusama, as she tries to complete her new series of 50 monochrome drawings in size F100. It is an overwhelming image, showing a bare canvas transforming into a completed work, as captured by a fixed point camera.
This has made it possible to witness the moment of Kusama's new art coming into being. it is the moment that Kusama's fans from throughout the world have been waiting for.
It is the first time that we can see the creative activity and the daily life of Kusama.
