A story depicting the friendships, motherly love, and growth of 5 mothers.

The mothers, who all have elementary school age children, meet around the school. The have their own complexes, which they are unable to get over. By interacting with each other, the mothers' friendships develop and they grow as people.

Un modeste admirateur Jul 01 2022 7:08 pm “Green Mothers Club” is the deepest drama currently airing. All its characters have layers of untold feelings and motives. Don’t make the mistake to judge them by your first impression! In fact, I’ve noticed that the bad characters in this drama are obsessed with appearances and with the majority’s perceptions. So, looking beyond appearances might be the ultimate lesson here (although I’ve only watched a few episodes to this day). For example, the main character, Eun-Pyo, comes out quite negatively in the beginning: incapable of making a professional career, and seemingly careless with her children’s education. But in the second episode, we realize that what we mistook for carelessness was actually mother’s love. And in the third episode, we see her assuming the wrong turn in her professional career, when she says quite exquisitely: “Why would holding on to my dreams be a crime against my family? All I wanted to achieve was to give the best of myself.” Sorry, if the quote isn’t precise, I’m watching with French subtitles. And by the way, to my surprise, Eun-Pyo speaks in French in a few scenes, when she wants her words to remain intimate and secretive.

I know everyone says they hate the female lead but everyone has their own opinion and it will all make sense as you continue to watch the episodes one at a time as to why eunpyo acts like that. I think in the beginning she acts all gloomy because she is living a life she didn’t exactly want. She wanted to be artist but because of her friend she stopped. She wanted to be a professor but something happened and they fired her so in the the beginning she was sad and was depressed. As you go along with the episodes it’s truly a good drama. Don’t listen to all the negative comments and just watch it with an open heart.

A Jun 09 2022 12:35 am The lead characters are great. As someone who never misses LYW series, I watch it with interest. However, the cliché in the scenario that the innocent cannot defend himself, and the guilty can take the majority with her without evidence and using illogical methods, it was repeated so much that I finally said “enough” in the 8th episode. Were we worthy to watch these beautiful actors with these cliché scenarios in 2022?

I am interested in next episodes, but i just wanna slap her. I just have no words. Seems like she is damaged by her love life, but i feel there is more drama. But even with kids she is so useless as a parent. Omg.

Glad I'm not alone in thinking that. She is supposed to be an intelligent, college educated art major at the Professor level...yet she whimpers and is jealous of her kindergarten son's moms??? Its off putting. She walks around and never smiles and has a sh*tty attitude. Hope I can watch it til the end.

Lynn May 29 2022 10:17 pm Character EP is so sickening annoying. Not sure the character is deliberately made as such, or the acting skill of the actress is so poor and mediocre. The face expression of EP is motionless, like a dead fish, day dreaming, dumb, dull. Story is well written though.

I think that in Luis Benuel's life first woman was this second lady who appeared recently, then was EP who has accomplished the role of a bandage and after that was JH whose role was the substitute of the first lady. That is why LB looked instantly so mesmerized when he saw JH on his wedding day with EP.

Val May 20 2022 11:55 pm I can’t stand Eun-Pyo she has the worst personality it reminds me of the same FL that stars in When the Camillia Blooms. Even though I really loved that one. I just can’t stand how she has a great husband and two beautiful children, but still isn’t over her ex. I really tried to dislike Jin-Ha, but I like her better that Eun-Pyo.

SPOIL ALERT: Seriously, now come on!!! It was a Good kdrama until the identical look alike adopted sister that looks exactly like his dead wife comes into the picture! That's even too far fetched for Kdrama. Even eun po, trying so hard to right her mortal enemy's reputation is laughable. The storyline has diverted from its original theme of raising kids and interpersonal relationship the just plain BS nonsense.

But wait, so the woman that look like jinha is the ex-lover from 20 years ago and he said "our parents". So they live as siblings before and then lover? Are the blood related?? This is so confusing. And I remember eunpyo's husband has Luis Benuel photo as a missing child on his file case somewhere on earlier episode.

Jin-Ha stoled Eun-Pyo's lover and they hate each other, but after JA's death, EP fights with the entire world to save Jin-Ha's reputation. Chun-Hui went with the manipulations to the point that it almost made EP change the place where she was living, but now they are doing just fine with each other. Very inconsistent relations.

m May 18 2022 12:01 pm Also hate the plotline going for the stepmother, henry's step-grandma, that would never happen! Her stepping in as a surrogate and taking henry in, in place of his dad. The mother Hated her and had No Relationship with her. It's a laughable situation, not very believable. So disappointed in the way this kdrama turned into! Waste of time.

Why did they have to do that -- it was already great and all that's left was for everything to come out but why did they do that?!

And also, one of the things I wish this drama could explore more is give a background story of how Lee Eun Pyo got together with her husband and have two babies with him because from what I can see, it seems to me that she still had feelings for her ex and even in the marriage, she still feels distant to her husband. So how did they got together.

But now im hooked up with this drama. Im so curious wads next and the pace is good. Its been a while im on drama marathon. So worth to check it out ya :)

Probably just because he was looking at his childhood pictures and got busy because he was searching for his childhood in Korea.

But then again I don't know if he love jinha based on what he said about don't have any happy days when they were together.

I don't think this will be story where old love reunited, 'cause this just doesn't seems to be a story that headed towards those kind of dramas(like sky castle, penthouse type of story)

Once you have tried everything buat your effort seems not work. You'll feel effortless...moreover, my child just like eun pyo's son behavior. I find and search every articles about parenting, join parenting clubs, subscribe any support group and buy books just to handle my boy's manners and behavior. I'm sad and so worry about my child's future and I feel like I'm an effortless mommy....so this kdrama so suit me??

But of course there's bound to be some underlying meaning to such titles, probably revealed as the series progresses.
