- Singer/actress Bae Suzy was first offered the lead female role, but declined due to scheduling conflicts with her Kpop group Miss A.
- Brief Korean working title was "Gamgaknamnyeo" (literally "Sensory Couple") before changing back to its original title of "Naemsaereul Boneun Sonyeo" (literally "The Girl Who Sees Smells").
