Hey Chinese dramas
Thanks for your edits for Chinese dramas. There are a few things to make note of your edits.
- If you want to use plot descriptions from the broadcasters programming page you can do so with a link to the source in moderation. In regards to all of your recent edits they all seem to come from TVB catalogue - so rather than using there source in bulk I removed the plot description entirely. We can add original plot descriptions down the road or use the broadcasters in moderation with citing their source. Wholesale copying of their plot descriptions makes our website look bad - so that's a big no-no.
- Viewership ratings looks copied from wikipedia. Again we don't want copy and paste jobs from other places. Wikipedia is a great resource and use it if you them if you like, but we are own entity. Copying their stuff just makes us look bad - so don't include anymore tv ratings.
- The template "DramaSlotTimeline" time slot is copied from drama wiki. Again drama wiki is a good site and if you want to use it go to their site. We are a distinct entity and copy and paste jobs from them makes us look bad so don't include those in anymore pages.
- cast list * [[Raymond Cho]] as Lee Hin should be * [[Raymond Cho]] - Lee Hin. We don't use "as" use "-".
- Actors and actresses pages should be updated when adding a new drama page. Again adding a new drama page without adding that new drama on the cast member's page is absolutely required.
There's no rush to create a gazillion crappy copy and paste jobs. These shows aren't going anywhere. The image thumbnails you have for cast members is good. If you wish to continue to make edits on AsianMediaWiki please follow these guidelines. Thanks -- --RamenLover 20:14, 15 April 2010 (UTC)
Sherming Yiu / Last One Standing
The image you have for Sherming Yiu performing as So Lai-Fa on the Last One Standing page is not the same as actress as we have for Sherming Yiu. This kind of careless error threatens the reliableness of our enire website.
