Kasumi (Kyoko Hayami) is the owner of the bar "Tsumi-horoboshi" ("Redemption Bar") in the Golden-gai district of Shinjuku. A woman appears (Shoko Kudo) who seems intent on drinking away her past. A regular at the bar (Yuya Takayama) takes an interest in the woman. Meanwhile, Kasumi's boyfriend (Takeshi Itoh) has a history with the woman at the bar.
