Harumi Takasugi (Keiichiro Koyama) is a young man and doesn't have a girlfriend. He struggles to make a living by doing geography research. One day, he suddenly becomes the guardian of his relative Kururi Takasugi (Kokoro Hirasawa). She recently lost her parents and she is a middle school student. As they begin to live together, they are confused by the sudden changes in their lives.
They both share a fondness for bento box lunches which brings them together.
