Kil-Ho (Oh Jung-Se) prepares for his civil service exam, but he prefers reading comics and hero books more than studying. He happens to meet Jung-Sook (Jo Eun-Ji) who loved him when they were college students. They fall in love with each other, but Jung-Sook’s mother opposes their relationship due to Kil-Ho's uncertain future and they break up. Kil-Ho makes his debut as writer of hero books and contacts Jung-Sook.
