Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki Staff ©
Kazuhiko Sengoku (Mansai Nomura) has a special ability to read memories left behind in things or places. In his past, he got popular as a member of a comedy duo with Ryuji Maruyama (Hiroyuki Miyasako). He used his special ability during his performances, but he eventually became burned out and broke up the comedy duo. Kazuhiko Sengoku then began working as a caretaker of a mansion.
One day, a female high school student, Ami Akiyama (Hana Sugisaki), goes to the entertainment office that Ryuji Maruyama works for. The high school student asks for the comedy duo of Kazuhiko Sengoku and Ryuji Maruyama to find a missing woman. The President of the entertainment company wants the comedy duo to reunite and he orders Ryuji Maruyama to help find the woman with Kazuhiko Sengoku.
To avoid losing his job, Ryuji Maruyama goes to visit Kazuhiko Sengoku. They meet for the first time in 10 years. Kazuhiko Sengoku refuses to take part in the missing woman case, even though Ryuji Maruyama and Ami Akiyama forces him to read the memories from the missing woman's possessions. Kazuhiko Sengoku tells them coldly that he has lost his special ability.
After Ryuji Maruyama and Ami Akiyama leaves, Kazuhiko Sengoku suddenly has a vision he has never seen before.
