I liked the characters: kind boss, strict coworker, most of all, very amusing and likeable Rinko-chan! Great job by Tashiro-san and all of the others. All of the teinei-go was very amusing in the circumstances. Work life is tough, and I wanted the little company to succeed. People unfamiliar with Japanese language and life may not understand the humor, but I have warm feelings about this show. ace Oct 27 2014 8:08 am Rather an unrealistic attempt at 'something' but I'm not sure what, exactly. Was not insightful since it was so far from reality. Was not funny. Was not dramatic. Was not sexy. Was just unsavory and dull. I personally found it pretty stupid and boring. That said, the premise had strong possibilities. But sadly none of the possibilities were fleshed out in any meaningful way. And visually it seemed as if it was actually shot by AV techies.
