Due to the sudden worsening of the weather, visibility on an airport bridge becomes extremely poor. Soon, a series of cars crash into each other and explode. The bridge itself is in danger of collapsing. People on the bridge are stranded with nowhere to go. Meanwhile, canines called Echo from the military's Project Silence, that were secretly being transported, are among those on the bridge. The dogs then escape from their cages. The survivors on the bridge become targets of these deadly animals. Various people on the bridge struggling to survive include Cha Jung-Won (Lee Sun-Kyun), Joe Park (Ju Ji-Hoon), and Doctor Yang (Kim Hee-Won).

Filming began on October 5, 2020 and finished on February 10, 2021.
Early working title was "Silence".

Brian V Jan 25 2026 8:21 pm The final project of actor Lee Sun-Kyun, my favourite actor, who also starred in my favourite Kdrama, My Mister. The final shot of Lee Sun-Kyun on the bridge at the end was perfect for how I want to remember him, with warmth and kindness in his eyes. We have lost such a great actor. It was a fantastic final shot of his career. It really made me sad though.

I was only able to find this movie dubbed in English. If I ever find it in Korean, I will watch it again.

I didn't recognize Park Ho-San, also from My Mister.

mewsmews Jun 28 2025 8:25 am This was an interesting movie. Not bad. but.....I was hoppping the father to die sooner,since he is an incredible asshole, disliking character. "oh but he redeemed himself in the end" No he didn't. His daughter has more morals then him. Worth a watch indeed. But i dont see myself rewatching it after one time.

Un modeste admirateur Jan 09 2025 2:25 pm «Project Silence» is truly a banger of a movie, with never-ending action and a booming disaster plot, with a touch of politics. It reminded of blockbusters that Hollywood used to make until the 1990s, before completely losing the mold. Brilliant performance by Lee Sun-Kyun and Kim Soo-Ahn as a widowed father and daughter. Vivid scenes and characters, especially the tow truck driver. A tiny regret of mine is that there was an opportunity for the widowed family to find a new mother by the end of the movie, but the screenwriter intentionally skipped any romantic plot.
