Park Goo (Lee Kwang-Soo) mutates into a man-fish due to side effects from an experimental drug. He receives heavy publicity and becomes a star. A conspiracy by a pharmaceutical company leads Park Goo to being possibly expelled from the world.

Notes

Filming begins November 10, 2014 in South Korea.
Script was selected through the CJ E&M sponsored "Butterfly Project" competition. First or second time film directors are invited to submit their scripts to the competition for a chance to have their projects funded.

Monette Sep 09 2022 6:02 am It took me so long to finally have myself to watch this movie. It's been downloaded in my phone but kept thinking if i want to watch it or not.

Then finally got my interest.

It made me laugh at first then on the middle part i loved it then at the near end of the movie, i found myself crying. I get emotional.

It is really is, that korean movies and dramas are made holistically... As for me.

giraffe or fish Jul 07 2018 12:22 pm well movie was rather okay, but plot and flow or the movie is slightly boring, but gotta say kwang soo, chun hee and park bo young acted well in here!! have to praise kwang soo here so much for his acting and it was definitely not easy to wear that fish mask and act as a fish, his emotions will only portray through his tone and voice. dang, i felt so sad for kwang soo, his face wasn't even shown at all, except for pictures... :( and basically his character here was just to pathetic and saddening :( hope to see kwang soo in more movies and dramas as the lead!! hwaiting!!

yk Jun 12 2017 1:48 pm Ok, real talks here watch this movie because I love all the three main casts. I think LKS deserve an award because he's potrays a character and show emotions not from facial appereances but from his voice/dubs

The story is sad but for ms it lacks something in it. Tho the ending was beautifully made and it's the save the movie. 8/10.

SongLee Apr 17 2015 10:46 am Is it just me that this movie has some similar thingy's (like for example the female lead is Park Bo Young) on the movie "The Werewolf Boy" which is the lead is none other than Song Joong ki who is also Kwangsoo's Bestfriend don't get me wrong I just love seeing connection between the two Bestfriend, I've been a fan of them ever since The running man show started where in Lee Kwang Soo and Song Joong Ki are together and also there has been an episode on running man where in Park Bo Young was the guest (SEE EPISODE 25 OF RUNNING MAN) and see for yourself how the two bestfriend interact with Park Bo Young (It was really funny and cute <3) :D WHAT DO GUYS THINK COINCIDENCE OR NOT?
