Plot

Nam-hee (Shim Hye-Jin) is going about selling fruit from her truck, when she nearly runs over a young gentleman, Joon (Lee Sang-Woo). Joon finds his way to Nam-hee's house, where he meets her mother Gan-nan (Kim Su-Mi), and her 20-year-old daughter Na-rae (Da-hee Lee). Through a series of circumstances, Joon comes to live with the three women, and with the introduction of a handsome man in their house, the three use their own skills to vie for his attention and compete for his affection.

ace Nov 02 2014 6:56 pm A rather odd little film. Fun, though. With good performances. Especially from Shim Hye-Jin as the mother. I really liked her character a lot. But to be fair, the daughter and grandmother were both pretty awesome too in their own way too. The male lead, Lee Sang-Woo, as Joon really doesn't do much except stand around looking pretty, placid and serene most of the time though. But then again, the movie is called Mother and Daughters. He is just the catalyst. I'd recommend it if you want something pleasant but is not outright comedy.

Ronaldo Jan 25 2013 2:22 pm At first, it seems like the movie "Everybody has secret" but as movie goes on, it's kinda mistery but then well explained at the end. Worth to watch, a little bit drama with much love and funny moments with family.
