When Shiwasu (Alice Hirose) was little, her mother ran away from their home. Shiwasu persists in asking her father why her mother abandoned them. Now as a young adult, she looks for a job and works part-time work as a miko (priestess) at a Shinto shrine where her father is a chief priest. If she finds a regular job, she will quite working at the shrine. Shiwasu though doesn't have any dreams or anything in particular she wants to do. One night, she walks around the Shinto shrine and finds 5-year-old Kenta (Taiki Yamaguchi). A couple of days later, his mother comes and takes him away. Kenta comes back to the Shinto shrine and he has a bruise on his face.
