Korean naval commander Lee Soon-Shin survives the Battle of Noryang on December 16, 1598. With the help of a woman named Heo Cho-Hee, Lee Soon-Shin then tries to build a nation dominated by its waters and goes up against King Sunjo.

Drama series contains a mixture of fact and fiction around legendary Korean naval commander Lee Soon-Shin. Lee Soon-Shin died at the Battle of Noryang on December 16, 1598, but the series builds off the premise that he survived.

My expectation are high for the cast i hope they wont choose people who i always see in historical dramas i want some one like hyun bin who has not acted in a historical drama before only one movie which as he said he didnt speak a proper old time accent due to the directors request so seeing him in a drama with eun hye or song ji hyo will be daebak omg!!!

lupita Apr 20 2015 1:51 pm when this drama gonna be aired?? idk why but i want hyun bin to be main lead coz i want to see him in a historical drama after fatal encounter which is number 8 in the korean box office 2014. his last drama was not good but his acting was amazing.i wanna see him in a new drama coz i feel like many other actors he might think of living drama land for a while and concentrate on movies. but if it was a drama with a great director and writer plus good actress like (song hye kyo lol coz i want them to get back together) or shin min ah(they are in the same agency), yoon eun hye, or song ji hyo (coz she admires hyun bin alot).
