Shinichi Ohara (Isao Hashizume) and Chikako Ohara (Atsuko Takahata) have been married for 50 years. After Shinichi Ohara retired from his job, he has stayed at home. Chikako Ohara stresses over her husband staying at home. They are on the verge of having a divorce.
Meanwihle, their daughter, Aya Ohara (Ayame Goriki), runs a food truck. She meets Ryota Kanno (Masaru Mizuno), who is her customer. Ryota Kanno recently began working as a funeral undertaker. He invites Aya Ohara to attend the Oshukatsu Fair. Aya Ohara also recommends to her mother Chikako Ohara to attend the Oshukatsu Fair. Chikako Ohara gets the latest information on preparing for death at the fair, but Shinichi Ohara doesn't like that. Their relationship gets even worse.
