Plot
Xu Shuhui introduced his friend Ku Manjing to Shen Shijun and they fell deeply in love. However, since his father was seriously ill, he had to stay in Nanjing to take care of his family business. This affected their relationship and they cooled down on each other. On the other side, Xu was ashamed of his poor family background and did not reveal his love for Shi Chuizhi.
